We first met while Kevin was behind the bar at Dubh Linn Square and Christine became a quick regular (Christine says it was Kevin's Irish Breakfast shot that won her heart, but he definitely thinks it was the kilt). After several regular karaoke Mondays passed, Christine stumbled upon Kevin again while she was grabbing dinner with friends, but this time at La Esperanza Mexican Restaurant & Bar. The handsome Irish guy behind the bar stuck out like a sore thumb, and Christine immediately recognized him from Dubh Linn Square. We definitely exchanged some eyes that night.  The next Monday while Christine and her crew were frequenting karaoke night yet again, she left her phone number for future husband on her drink receipt, walking out with no expectations (Kevin still has that receipt by the way). He wasted no time-- less than a day later, we were texting for hours. After a simple Facebook friend request, we realized that we had several mutual friends (including Christine's sister (Kathleen) and Kathleen's best friend (Katie) and Katie's whole family), and were trying to connect the dots. Suddenly it dawned on us-- Kevin had taken Katie to Kathleen and her's senior prom about six years prior. Not only that, but Kevin was in Christine and Kathleen's house for pictures! Talk about a small world! The rest, as they say, is history.
