Our Story
In early November 2021, Caleb and Stephanie started talking and getting to know each other. Later that month, they spent 8 hours hiking and growing closer together at Beaver Dam Reservoir.
Being old fashioned, an IT geek, and taking his dad's antiquated advice on dating (from the 1875 book "A Gentleman's Guide of Etiquette"), Caleb boiled dating down to a mathematical formula (e.g., 6 months of hanging out before asking to date). Of course, Stephanie was no better with her analytical brain and consistent research (e.g., 3 years of dating before marriage).
Together, the couple grew closer through their hiking (over 100 trails, over 300 miles) together (of course with Lexi!) as well as long distance traveling, attending numerous weddings, and enjoying life together.
Fast forward to December 2024, Caleb attempted to surprise Stephanie with a proposal in the mountains with meteors overhead. Due to circumstances, the proposal didn't go off as planned but was one to remember.
