We want to celebrate this new chapter in our life with family and friends and not everyone could travel to a central location due to health, age, or other obstacles.

Absolutely! You're welcome at any and all receptions.

Do I have to be there right when the reception starts?

You can come at anytime during the reception and stay for however long you want.
