We met at work on November 2, 2017. A few different co-workers began urging us to ask the other out, but we were both shy. Finally, one of Caleb's supervisors called Caleb over to him, ripped a document that only I could provide a copy of, and demanded Caleb to retrieve the document from me. Caleb bashfully and adorably came to my office with the torn paper, and I blushed and stumbled over my words as I re-printed the document for Caleb. We exchanged phone numbers, and I immediately texted him to not text at work or I would tell his supervisor (I work in HR). We had our first date that Saturday. We played music in the park, and then got rained out and dashed to his truck, where he showed me photos of him and his friends and talked about hunting to fill the awkward silence. Most of our first dates will always be unforgettable in my mind: We slow-danced to some Alanis Morissette song in his kitchen while we were painting his cabinets; I met his mother and a few recently-discovered family members that he had yet to meet on our second date; we watched a meteor shower from his truck bed after he got off work late one night (it was freezing cold outside and he still agreed to spend time with me *outside - in the freezing cold* after working a full shift). Falling in love with Caleb was easy. He is loving, kind, and incredibly thoughtful. He genuinely cares about people, and that makes him easy to care about. I can't wait to start our next adventure together as husband and wife.
