The Christkindlmarket
This beloved Chicago holiday tradition will open on November 22nd (the day before our wedding) and is free admission for both markets. Make sure to check out the locations pages to find out more about special events, transportation, and parking specials. "The German-style Christmas Market provides a safe outdoor experience for the whole family. The smell of roasted nuts, fresh pretzels, bratwurst and hot spiced wine, the sound of festive music, and the glimmer of sparkling Christmas ornaments, all in a cozy atmosphere – a visit to the market takes all your senses on a journey! Visitors can explore vendor products from around the world, participate in special events, and enjoy the unique shopping experience." Caleb and Kelsie enjoy going to the Christkindlmarket, making it one of their yearly Christmas dates and traditions!
Blackberry Market
Located right across the street from the ceremony location, Glen Ellyn Bible Church, Blackberry Market is a fast and casual cafe and bakery that offers meals, dinners to-go, coffee drinks, baked goods, and other delicious beverages. The cinnamon rolls are a staple! Caleb and Kelsie would highly recommend checking our Blackberry during your visit to Glen Ellyn (maybe for a quick coffee or brunch before the ceremony)!
St. James Farm Forest Preserve
Caleb and Kelsie enjoy hiking, bike riding, and picnicking together amidst the woodlands, prairies, and wetlands of St. James!
