All those who are invited will be named on your invitation and RSVP page. Unfortunately, while we wish we could invite additional guests, our guest count is limited and maximized. If someone listed on your invitation cannot make it, please do NOT RSVP another person in their place. We have other friends and family who are very special to us that we would love to invite in these cases. If you have been given a plus one, please be sure to know who you are bringing by our RSVP deadline – we will need their names for several planning purposes.
There are many people involved in helping us create our special day. In order to give them ample time to finish preparation, please RSVP online by August 28th.
While we love all of the children in our lives, the only children attending are those in our wedding party and families with special circumstances. If your little ones are not listed on your invitation, we kindly request that you secure childcare in advance and enjoy a date night on us!
We are having an unplugged ceremony. This means that we are requesting our guests to be present in the moment with us and share it authentically. We hired and paid for a photographer who we trust to capture these special moments. During the remainder of the evening, please capture the shenanigans as you experience it! We will definitely look forward to seeing the night unfold from many perspectives!
To maximize your comfort and the visuals of our photos, we have opted for a semi-formal dress code. While we understand you may be more comfortable in jeans and other casual-wear, save ‘em for the after party. - Please keep in mind that September in Virginia is unpredictable. There may be extreme heat or a massive cold front, and of course, the possibility of rain. Our ceremony will take place outdoors in open air. Please keep the unpredictability in mind and plan for all possible scenarios (we promise it will be short!) After the ceremony, we will have access to a tent and outdoor heaters to assist with managing any undesirable weather.
Please arrive 15-30 minutes before the ceremony, so you can be seated before we begin. Keep in mind that due to parents weekend and a college football game, traffic will be heavy.
Please make us aware of any dietary restrictions when submitting your RSVP. We will reserve plates that meet dietary needs based on these responses.
