Pinecrest Lake
This is the location where Caleb and Karissa had their first date and first experienced the awe of spending time together. It's a beautiful place to spend the day. Hike around the lake, swim in the brisk waters or hang out on the sandy beach with an ice cream cone from the snack shack!
Lake Don Pedro - Fleming Meadows Entrance
Rent a boat or jetski along the shores of this lake. This is where Caleb and Karissa had their second date: tubing King and Queen of the waters!
Historic Columbia Main Street
Step back in time to an authentic 1800's goldrush town. On the weekends you can even ride a horse drawn carriage through the streets. Make sure to check out the blacksmith and the authentic general store. St. Charles Saloon at the end has great pizza!
Sonora Good Eats and Shopping
Visit the quaint downtown area and go window shopping! Some of our favorite eats: Eighty One ~ Excellent Coffee, homemade pastries and sandwiches! A favorite of Karissa. Yoshoku ~ This ramen bowl will blow you away! Shiro Ninja ~ Great service & also where KK+Leb went on their engagement night! Diamond Back Grill ~ For a good burger and all around American meal.
Yosemite National Park
Although this is about 1.5 hours drive away, it is worth it! And if you're coming all this way, why not stop at one of the world's most iconic national parks!
