FAQs

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

If your child is listed on the invitation, we would love to have them join us at the wedding! To keep things intimate, we are limiting children to close family only. If your little one’s name isn’t on the invitation, please consider this an opportunity to enjoy a date night together—we hope it feels like a little gift from us to you! Thank you so much for your understanding as we accommodate our limited guest capacity.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

In order to help us with table assignments & final food orders, we would appreciate if you could RSVP by May 21st at the latest!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your +1 is listed on the invitation—heck yeah, bring them along! If we didn’t include a plus-one and you were hoping to bring a special someone, we’re so sorry for any disappointment. We truly appreciate you joining us solo to help us keep things manageable. If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

It's the summer solstice, so the vibes are fun summer garden party! For the ladies, think sundresses, floral prints, or bright summer colors! For the gentlemen, we recommend suits in lighter hues or a nice button-down (short or long-sleeve) with some slacks. We would greatly appreciate if jeans or shorts were avoided!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please do! If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions, please let me know ASAP via email or text. My # is (425) 628-7722 and my email is g.e.mccuistion@gmail.com. We will do our best to ensure you have something delicious to eat.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! We will have parking in the side yard with attendants helping point you in the right direction. However, we would always recommend carpooling if you have friends/family you want to attend with :)

Question

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Answer

Yes, the entirety of our day will be outdoors. We are praying for beautiful late June weather, but on the chance of a heat wave or a rain storm, please prepare accordingly with sunscreen or jackets.

Question

Can I take photos or post on social media?

Answer

We kindly ask for a completely phone-free ceremony—please keep your phones and cameras tucked away throughout the entire service. After the honeymoon, feel free to reach out to Grace or Caleb if you'd like to see the professional photos or video recording from the ceremony! As for the rest of the celebration, we’d love for you to stay as present in the moment as possible, but you’re more than welcome to snap a few memories with your phone if you’d like!

For all the days along the way
