Downtown Sandpoint
We have had many a date here in our cute little downtown area. Filled to the brim with little boutiques and places to eat, downtown Sandpoint is a wonderful place to hangout and visit.
Sandpoint City Beach
This is a great spot to do anything from swimming, BBQing, or just hanging out in the sun. City beach also has its own beach volleyball and tennis courts, as well as a playground so the whole family can have fun!
Pend d'Oreille Bay Trail
This is a fun little walking trail in the heart of town showing off one of our beautiful lakes. It's down the street from Downtown Sandpoint and right next to the beach. If you have any free time while you're here, we definitely recommend you check it out!
Schweitzer Mountain Resort
Schweitzer is home to a whole slew of fun and adventure. While it's primarily known as a fabulous ski resort once the snow starts to fall, locals will know that its an awesome summer spot as well. There are several trails for both hiking and mountain biking spread across the hill many of which do not require any payment to ride the ski lifts. There's also plenty of things to do down in the village and a quick ride up the lift can get you some great food and a great view from the Sky Lodge.
Hiking
A quick search online can lead you to the numerous gorgeous hiking trails and mountain lakes we have in the surrounding area. I'd personally recommend many of the one up Upper Pack River Rd, or if your willing to take the longer drive for a nice easy hike, Roman Nose lake is a prime choice.
