Crux Fermentation Project
This wouldn't be a good Bend recommendation list without a handful of breweries. Bend has the highest micro-brewery per capita in the nation and the title of 'Beer City USA. Crux Fermentation had been a longtime go to brew for warm summer days when I was craving something yeasty and fruity. This location has a great outdoor area, beautiful views of Three Sisters, and is kid friendly.
Monkless Belgian Ales
Craving a complex, resinous Belgian Ale? Please do yourself a favor and visit the monastery digs at Monkless Belgian Ales. FUN FACT: Meg is a certified Cicerone Server (think sommelier but for beer).
Bend Whitewater Park
An extremely beautiful and fun spot for some outdoor fun. Swim, tube or surf at this whitewater park! Caleb and I came completely unprepared the first time we stumbled upon this park but found it's a great spot for people watching.
Smith Rock State Park
Smith Rock State Park has great hiking and even better rock climbing. A great place to scratch that hiking itch just outside of Bend.
The Sparrow Bakery Northwest
Delicious bakery serving breakfast and lunch in a great part of town for shopping. Try the Ocean Roll!
Wild Rose Northern Thai Eats
Extremely busy but worth the wait! EVERYTHING we ordered was good! We totally scored and got to take all the leftovers from our dinner with friends since we were camping nearby. #DrunkenNoodles4Breakfast
