Of the bunch, Tor has known me the longest as we met in elementary school. It wasn't until later in middle school when we became best friends. We went through all of the ups and downs of high school together. Although she went to school in Iowa and I was at Bethel, we have remained best friends throughout college. I couldn't imagine the day without her!

John and I met on freshman year move in day for fall camp. He and I bonded over our love for Chick-fil-A and The Office, and I from that point on I knew he was going to be one of my best friends. John and I have lived together for the last three years while at Bethel and currently live together in Minneapolis.
Rachel Ness

Rach and I met freshman year of college and were destined to be friends. Our older brothers attended Bethel together and we knew we had to meet each other. Rach and I have lived together for the last 3 years, and oh the memories we have made. Rachel has had a front row seat to Cale and my's relationship and she has grown into one of our best friends. I am so grateful to have her stand by my side this summer.
Riley McCann

Riley and I met freshman year on the football team. Although he started on the offensive side of the ball, by our senior year he had transitioned to the good side. I have gotten to live with Riley the majority of college and we have enjoyed all spring/winter break trips over the years together. Happy to have him standing by my side on the big day.

Dyl and I met before college through mutual friends and immediately decided to room together! Many people thought we looked alike during our first few months at Bethel....we may have played along to being cousins for a bit. She truly is like a sister to me. I'm so grateful that my freshman year college roommate turned into a best friend for life.

Bear and I also met freshman year of college through football. Over the last couple years we have gotten to live with each other and venture on some pretty cool trips. We shared our J-term trip to Ecuador and made some awesome life-long memories. He made his move back to Iowa after college but thankfully has made many trips back to MN to visit.

Jessie and I met our sophomore year at Bethel! Little did I know how fast we would become so close. Jessie and I lived together our senior year, and being the 2 girls that didn't have direct roommates, we found ourselves having plenty of slumbies together. Jessie has been a constant source of encouragement, laughs, and always knows just what to say. She has grown into a great friend of Cale's as well. I couldn't imagine not having her by my side on such a big day.

John is one of my best friends from high school. We met during my sophomore year football season. Our love for Colorado sports and Chick-fil-A (see a trend) made us strong friends to this day. John is a senior at the University of Colorado-Boulder where he works with the football team. Katie makes fun of us because there aren't many sports games during which we aren't texting back and forth.

Brit and I became friends the first day she moved in at Bethel. She was on 2nd floor in Getsch Dorm and I was on 3rd floor in Getsch. JJ Wahlquist was a mutual friend and introduced us right away. Although we never lived directly with one another, we spent countless hours together. She has grown into such a great friend and I am excited to have her be a part of our big day.

Blake and I met freshman year, as we both lived on the first floor in Edgren Hall. Our freshman year was filled with many E1 outings to Flame Burger, trips to the casino, and WWE nights. Blake also was our kicker on the football team. He has grown into a good friend over the years and it's been fun to continue to have him as a roommate after college.

Yes, we have the same name...but not for long!!! Katie is my sister (in-law) and is married to my oldest brother, J.D. She has been like an older sister to me since the first time I met her. She has the amazing ability to get along with anyone she meets- needless to say she won me over right away. To say my brother has good taste is an understatement. I am so happy that she joined our family and is with us for life.
JJ Wahlquist

JJ was one of my first friends when I decided to come out to MN for college. We played football together and lived together our sophomore year in Arden Village. I also have him to thank for introducing me to Katie on the day we moved in. Although he relocated to Mississippi for a job after college, he has remained a constant friend. I am pumped to hear he will be coming back to MN for a new work opportunity.
Olivia Mehlhorn

Olivia is my sister (in-law) and is married to my brother, Matt. She also is Mom to our flower girl, Minka. Liv and I go way back, she was my friend long before she became my sister-in-law. (You're welcome Matt for finding you this gem). I couldn't be more excited to have Liv stand by my side. Cale and I have had so much fun spending time with Liv, Matt and their growing family. I can't wait to have each of them play a part on our special day!

Preston is my brother-in-law (married to my sister Spencer). I have known him the longest out of all my groomsmen. We first met when I was 12- it didn't take long for Preston to become someone I considered like my big brother. I am so grateful that Spencer chose such a great guy to join the family.

Spencer is Cale's oldest sister. I am so excited to be gaining another sister! Spencer has been so welcoming of me and it's been fun growing to know each other better. We can always count on Spencer to provide Cale and I with valuable advice as we begin our life together. She has been someone Cale has looked up to for a long time, and she has grown into someone I know I can go to for anything. I am so excited to join the family and have a great friend and sister in Spencer.
J.D. Mehlhorn

J.D. is my (Katie's) oldest brother. I like to think we share some of the same qualities- goofy, personable...and probably the most notable- we can both talk anyone's ear off. J.D. currently lives in Atlanta with his wife, Katie Mehlhorn. Let's just say J.D. is probably happy I am getting a new last name so he won't mix up the two "Katie Mehlhorn"'s in his contacts... J.D. will be playing such a special role on our big day, I am thankful to have him as my big brother.

Jae is Cale's second oldest sister, they are only a few years apart. As I've gotten to know Jae, I've learned how outgoing, adventurous, and personable she is. One of my first trips out to Colorado I remember Cale, Jae and I went to see Despicable Me 3 in theaters (Jae had just gotten her wisdom teeth out). She was so funny, I knew I was going to get along great with her. I've had such a fun time getting to know her and I am so excited our relationship will only continue to grow. Needless to say I'm gaining two pretty great sisters.
Matt Mehlhorn

Matt is my second oldest brother. He, his wife (Olivia), and their 2 girls (Minka and Ryah) live near by and we love hanging out with them. It's been fun to grow closer as we've gotten older. We can always count on Matt and Liv for an outdoor adventure, trip to the cabin, or a game night. I am thankful he has the patience to listen to my commute phone calls to just "check-in" (or ramble more often than not). I'm so happy to have such an awesome big brother that will be there for me on my special day.

Minka is my (Katie's) and soon to be Cale's niece! By the time you see her walking down the isle she'll be just over 2 years old! She just became an older sister to Ryah Mehlhorn in June 2020. Cale likes to say that Minka is like me in that she's loud and dramatic....and such a cutie.
