Our story began in September 2020, when we met through mutual friends, realizing it's very likely that we crossed paths in previous years without even knowing. We began dating shortly after, but James had to leave for 4 months for Army training. We knew we would make it work and continued to fall for each other long distance. After James came back home, from that point on we were basically glued together. Fast forward through a lot of laughs, deep conversations about our future, and binge-watching our favorite shows- we knew this was it. An unexpected work opportunity came up to move to Hawaii and James quickly asked Kate to go with him. After jumping on the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, we packed up our whole lives and moved almost 5 thousand miles away! We've been soaking up the sunshine, exploring the islands, and creating lifelong memories during this temporary chapter in our lives. It was there, on Valentine's Day at a beautiful beach, that James got down on one knee and asked the question that changed everything. Although originally thinking they would elope in Hawaii, James and Kate wanted their love to be celebrated with everyone they love. After almost 5 years together, we're making it official! We can't wait to celebrate this next chapter with all the amazing people who mean the most to us.
