Do I really need to rent a car?

Answer

We definitely recommend it - especially if you are coming for an extended amount of time and want to explore all that Maui has to offer! Maui is a large island and the easiest way to get around is by having your own car. I would book a rental car ASAP as there is a high demand and a shortage of cars since COVID.

What is the weather like on Maui in April?

Answer

April is beautiful as it isn't too hot yet, but it is the end of rainy season on Maui, so be prepared for anything. The wedding is at 3000ft elevation, so it will be chilly at night. Bring a sweater or jacket to the wedding. Days are hot especially on the south and west side of the island. Nights can be cold - bring warm clothes.

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you :)

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is a lot of parking at the venue, but we will also have shuttles from Paia and central Kihei should you want to let loose and enjoy adult beverages!
