Glin Castle
When people think of Ireland, they generally picture rolling green fields, leprechauns, pints of Guinness, and, of course, beautiful castles. When we visited this place over six years ago together, we were captivated by its beauty and made a firm decision that this would be the destination where we would return together to make our Unbreakable Vow. Glin Castle is one of Ireland’s great heritage houses, and is steeped with over 700 years colorful history, by the FitzGerald family, hereditary Knights of Glin. The present Glin Castle, which succeeds the Medieval ruin in the village of Glin, was built in the late 18th century with entertaining in mind, which is still very much the order of the day at this remarkable property. Glin Castle stands proudly in its 400-acre wooded demesne on the banks of the River Shannon. Behind the house lie romantic pleasure grounds and a vibrant walled garden, which supplies flowers, vegetables and fruit for the kitchen. The kitchen offers the best in Irish country house cooking and is equipped with everything needed to cater. We've secured this stunning 15-bedroom castle for our week-long celebration of love. We're thrilled to share this special time with close friends and family. Each morning, breakfast will be provided, along with several special dinners throughout the week.

Flying Tips
It's recommended to fly directly to Dublin from the U.S. to avoid customs in another country before arriving in Ireland. Similarly, when departing Dublin, if you plan to stop in another country before returning home, your bags will be checked again. For instance, if you purchase duty-free liquor at the Irish airport and then travel to London, you'll need to ship the liquor because it exceeds 3.5 oz. Therefore, it's advisable to book non-stop flights to and from the U.S. Please be aware that flight prices fluctuate daily, and as the date approaches, they tend to increase. To save money, we recommend booking your flights as soon as your plans are confirmed. Once you've booked your flights, please send your itinerary to Caitlyn promptly. If everyone arrives early in Dublin, we can adjust the transportation schedule to an earlier time, with the only condition being a potential stop for a pint before reaching Glin Castle.
