Guinness & Welcoming Garden Party

Please meet at Fitzgerald's Restaurant & Bar in Terminal 2 at Dublin airport. Have a pint or a coffee. There is restrooms right there if you need to change and freshen up. Karen will be there to meet everyone then take you to the wedding coach by 950 sharp. You will be taken to Guinness where you will meet the couple! Lunch and Pints at Guinness. At 1pm the coach will take you to the castle. Please nap on the plane ride over and in the coach across the country to be ready for the tour of Glin Castle. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres upon arrival and then dinner around 8.

Hen & Stag party

Coffee and breakfast will be from 8-10am. Take your time getting up and enjoy the beauty of the Castle grounds and the company. Clay pigeon shooting will start around 11 and the whiskey tasting will be around 3 PM. Pigeon shooting is €100 that can be added to your tab and paid at the end of the week and whiskey tasting is €55 if you want to take part of that. We will make our way to Main Street and pub crawl the rest of the evening. Harry Potter theme for ladies so black dresses for pictures. :)

Golf Day

EARLY morning to make the drive to Doonbeg. Drinks will be provided and the 4 hours of golf followed by lunch at the bar before heading back to Glin Castle. Please pack soft cleet golf shoes and golf clothes to change in to. Very nice facilities where you can shower before or after playing and change your clothes. Per bride, please do not let him drink too much as it is the rehearsal day and he needs to remember his tasks!
Adare Manor for Afternoon Tea

Ladies we will take our time having mimosas in the morning and taking in the beauty and then make our way to Adare Village. I had the pleasure of visiting this small town in February and it was absolutely amazing. Votes best small village 5 years running. We will walk along the tiny town and shop and drink Irish coffees. We have reservations for afternoon tea at 1pm. The estate is beautiful. Hopefully we can get on the grounds a little early and take memorable pictures. Then after tea, we will leave around three to get back to the cast by 345 to start getting ready for the rehearsal.
Rehearsal Dinner at O'Shaughnessy's Pub
6:30 pm - 11:00 pm

A quick walk though of the rehearsal at the castle 530pm. then we will make the walk into town to have some pints and appetizers while listening to traditional irish music at the local pub before we have dinner. This pub is a CASH PUB only. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner one morning and drank a pint of Guinness and read the paper with him at 10am before they even opened

We make the Unbreakable Vow

Ladies will start getting ready at 8 AM. We should be done by 12 then the ceremony will start by 12:3o/1pm. Green dress for ladies. Gentlemen, if you would like you can wear a green shirt or green tie that matches your bosses dress so you can have beautiful pictures taken together.
All phones will be left on the table right inside the castle and on silent or do not disturb since there will be light music playing, and we do not want to drown it out. Do not take them outside. I will have someone come around and patch you down to make sure they are not on you. :)
Espresso Martini & Brunch Reception

At this moment, we will have a toast and first dance before the couple walks off and has a moment alone for pictures and other things that married people do ;)
All Day Soiree

Events around the Castle

After celebrating the day before breakfast will be served at 9 AM this day so people can leisurely wake up. Events can be arranged around the castle this day. We will have a list of events in every room and on Tuesday, we can go over what you would like to schedule for this day. You can also walk around the town or the nights of Glen Trail or if you’re feeling really adventurous walk down to the Shannon river and jump in the Atlantic ocean

Explor Cliffs of Moher

Coach will arrive around 945 and take us on the 1.5 hour journey to Cliff of Moher where they filmed a scene in the Harry Potter movies so of course every time Caitlyn comes to Ireland she has to go to the spot. It can be very windy as it is a Cliff on the side of the ocean. This would be the perfect day to wear old tennis shoes or rain boots as it can be a little muddy and slippery.

Day of relaxation at the Castle

The last day. Breakfast starting from 8 to 10. Please start packing so you do not have to do it later in the evening. There will be a early coach the next morning to ensure everyone gets to the airport in time due to having to clear customs in Ireland so you do not have to do it at home. Another reason we love about this country it speeds up your arrival time back home so all you have to do is grab your luggage and head back to reality. But we will have a beautiful day of last adventures and a early dinner so you can get rest before your travel day.
