Brittany is the middle sister and one of Caitlyn’s closest friends. Growing up they were always super close and often mistaken for twins. They even dressed like it. You would always find them playing Barbie’s, dolls and little house on the prairie. They would also quote and reenact whole movies like The Parent Trap and Peter Pan. As adults, they moved out into their first apartment together as roommates. They did everything together and Caitlyn can't imagine anyone else standing right next to her on her wedding day.

Steve Mummert

Nic and Steve met at the College Ministry at World Outreach Church in 2014. They were able to play as part of the college ministry worship team together throughout the years. Since then their friendship has grown closer as they have become co-workers, vacation buddies, accountability partners, softball teammates, and even neighbors.

Rachel Towle

Co-Maid of Honor

The youngest sister and also one of Caitlyn’s closest friends. Rachel and Caitlyn grew up complete opposites in personality and how they do things - being your typical oldest and youngest sister. Growing up, the three sisters would always play together and create new worlds. As Caitlyn and Rachel grew older, they learned from each others differences and have become so much closer because of it. They enjoy watching the classic and sci fi tv shows together as well as spending time outdoors together. Rachel brings the fun and enjoyment to Caitlyn’s life and makes her try new things. After graduating from Lipscomb university in 2021, Rachel moved in with her sisters. Caitlyn is thankful to have Rachel to stand up there next to Brittany on her special day.

Dylan Rosson

Groomsman

Nic and Dylan met at the College Ministry at World Outreach Church in 2014. They bonded through their love of music, getting to play on the worship team at the college ministry, sharing the experience of the touring musician life, and a shared sense of humor (Dylan is always looking for the joke). They've spent countless late nights playing video games, watching movies and comedy specials, and were each other's go to buddy for movies, concerts, and Nashville Predators games when they couldn't find a date in their single years haha.

Tori Dixon

Nic's younger sister and Caitlyn’s future sister in law. They both are super creative in that they enjoy drawing and crocheting, as well as other creative activities. Caitlyn has loved getting to know Tori and growing closer to one another this past year. Caitlyn and Nic are so thankful to have her standing up there with them on their wedding day.

Josh Dixon

Nic's Brother-In-Law and friend. They both share a love for music, play bass guitar, enjoy outdoor activities, love having a good laugh, and enjoy sharing good food and drinks with friends and family. Nic had the honor of standing with Josh and Nic's sister Tori in their wedding in October 2019. It means so much to have Josh and Tori stand with us in our wedding!

Karis Serano

Karis is one of Caitlyn’s closest childhood friends since preschool. They basically spent their entire childhood together in Springboro, OH. They both grew up in the same church, same homeschool group and were in various plays and activities together. Both Karis and Caitlyn moved around quite a bit, but they have kept in touch over the years. Caitlyn stood up with Karis on her special day and she is so thankful that Karis will get to be there for her day.

Chip Brown

Groomsman

One of Nic's oldest friends. In fact, the Brown and the Smith families go back multiple generations to when their grandparents went to church together in Indiana, their parents went to college together at Hobe Sound Bible College in Florida, and then the families reconnected shortly after the Smith family moved to TN in 2001. Nic and Chip grew close and bonded through a love of Baseball and Hockey going to many Sounds and Preds games as well as a shared love of music - especially Muse! Nic was in Chip and Lindsay's wedding in 2015. Even though they have never lived in the same town, they have always made an effort to grab lunch or keep in touch with a phone call to this day.

Miranda Moore

Miranda is another one of Caitlyn’s closest childhood friends from preschool. Miranda’s family was basically Caitlyn’s second family growing up and they would spend multiple nights in a row at each other’s homes. They created their own spy headquarters under the basement stairs and would go on adventures in the creek behind Miranda's house. Throughout the years they would keep in contact with letters, many phone calls, and special visits. Caitlyn is so thankful to have Miranda be a part of her day as she couldn't imagine getting married without her.

Caleb Reed

Nic and his cousin Caleb were always close growing up. They loved playing army or cowboys in the backyard and shared a fascination with knives, firearms, and really anything survival related. As they have grown older, life hasn't allowed for as many visits and time spent together, but they still try to keep in touch and visit each other as often as possible. Nic was in Caleb and Ariana's wedding in 2013 and has been looking forward to having Caleb stand with him in his wedding since.

Tarryn Brown

Tarryn and Caitlyn met back in the summer of 2011 at Stamps-Baxter school of music at MTSU. They were made roommates and immediately hit it off. People thought they were related or that they knew each other for years. Even though the distance between them is great, they’ve keep in close contact through the years with phone calls lasting over 2 hours catching up on life. Caitlyn was maid of honor for her wedding and is godmommy to Tarryn’s two precious kiddos. Caitlyn is so blessed to have Tarryn stand with her on her wedding day.

Nathan Akers

Nic and Nathan met in January of 2014 at the College Ministry at World Outreach Church. Nathan was Nic's first small group leader at WOC and was the worship leader at the college group. Since that first time meeting and playing ping-pong in the back of Genesis sanctuary Nic and Nathan have hit it off and Nathan has been like a big brother from the start. Through years of leading worship together, working on music projects, and playing ping-pong and catching up on life, Nathan has been a friend, confidant, mentor, encourager, and big brother and we look forward to having him on standing with us on our Wedding Day.

Haley Carman

Caitlyn and Haley met through Nic just before Easter weekend in 2021 because the church was needing more photographers. Haley is a fellow creative and photographer friend, and heads up the social media and photography team at WOC church. Because of their love for capturing special moments, they became quick friends. Haley’s friendship came at a very special time in Caitlyn’s life. Caitlyn is so thankful for Haley’s friendship and to have her be a part of her and Nic’s special day.

Blake Carman

Nic's co-worker, friend, fellow audio nerd and sports lover. Nic and Blake really met through the Lord's moving which resulted in Blake and Haley moving from Oklahoma to Murfreesboro, TN and for Blake to start working at World Outreach Church with Nic on the production team in 2019. Since then they have grown close working through they craziness of 2020 and living life together. The Carman's have become great friends both to Nic and Caitlyn and played a huge role in helping Nic setup and surprise Caitlyn with the Proposal.

Parker Mummert

Steve and Dani's first little girl. She is so smart, precious, and sweet and says hi to her "Uncle Nic" every time he walks by in church or drives out of the neighboring driveway.

Coen Todd

Coen is one of Caitlyn’s special nanny kiddos that she cared for since he was just a few months old. She watched him and his older brother Colton for 5 years before they outgrew her and started school. He is a big ball of energy and is always doing things to make people laugh. Even though they don’t see each other as often any more, Coen will always be Caitlyn’s little squish.
