Things To Do

As a native Savannian, I know how special this city is when visiting it for the first time. I've listed a few of my top "must see" parts of this historic place.
Forsyth Park

Forsyth Park

Savannah, GA 31401

Forsyth Park is a Savannah staple! If you're looking to take a nice leisurely stroll through the Spanish Moss trees, take beautiful photos next to the fountain, and admire all of the historic homes in the area... this is the place for you to visit. If you're lucky... you'll get to see some of the SCAD students working on their paintings or art pieces for school.

City Market

City Market

219 West Bryan Street, Savannah, GA 31401

This is where Michael and I love to hangout during the day and night! There are tons of restaurants, bars, shops, and it's right across the road from the infamous River Street. Grab a slice of pizza from Vinny Van Go Gos, eat some brunch at Little Duck Diner, or pop into Social House for a beer. This place is super fun!

River Street

River Street

River Street, Savannah, GA 31401

River Street is the heart of Savannah. This is where so much history resides..... Take a walk down the cobble stone pathways next to the river where ships come and go. Pop into the Savannah Sweets candy store, grab a t-shirt in a tourist shop, eat at restaurants like Vic's on the River, and more! Also, you HAVE to stop and see the Savannah Waving Girl statue along the way.

Ghost Tours ️

Ghost Tours ️

311 West Broughton Street, Savannah, GA 31401

If you're coming to Savannah you need to know one thing ...... our city is HAUNTED. There are so many stories and tales of ghosts/spirits. If you're looking for a fun way to explore the city, I highly recommend taking a ghost tour! This city is the most perfect backdrop for spooky tales and mysterious happenings.

Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist

Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist

120 Broad Street, Charleston, SC 29401

Known as the "Sistine of the South", this historic landmark features stunning stained glass, soaring ceilings and intricate architectural details that leave a lasting impression. For my Catholic family and friends... you have to step in to see this insane architecture!

Wormsloe State Historic Site

Wormsloe State Historic Site

7601 Skidaway Road, Savannah, GA 31406

This mile long avenue lined with towering live oaks is straight out of a movie, and makes for some of the most iconic photo ops in the city.

Bonaventure Cemetery Tours

Bonaventure Cemetery Tours

415 Bonaventure Road, Thunderbolt, GA 31404

You may recognize this historical cemetery from the book/movie Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil. This beautiful resting place is filled with so much history and it's just really peaceful to go on a tour of A lot of my (Caitlyn) family is buried in this cemetery, and so I really encourage you to go "visit the bones" (as my Mammaw use to say).

Tybee Island

Tybee Island

Tybee Island, GA

If you're wanting to have a gorgeous beach day Tybee is the place to be! It's about a 20 minute drive from downtown Savannah. This coastal town has a "local" feel to it . However, it can get pretty crowded so make sure you head down there early to get some parking!

Broughton Street Shopping

Broughton Street Shopping

East Broughton Street, Savannah, GA 31401

If you're wanting a place to shop until you drop this is the SPOT. They have the cutest boutiques, chain stores, coffee shops, & the famous Leopold's ice cream shop. This is a great area to spend your time during the day ◡̈
