Maid of Honor
Carolyn currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia. Carolyn and Caitlyn were freshmen roommates at Penn State and instantly became best friends. Caitlyn remembers going into the dorm for the first time to a note on her bed saying "I wasn't sure what side of the dorm you wanted so I just picked this one. We can trade if you want. There are beverages in the fridge if you and your family want something. I'm sorry I couldn't be there to meet you and your family right away, but I am at work." She always loved the random letters of encouragement Carolyn would leave on her mirror, in her laptop, on her closet door, etc. Flash forward to 10 years later and states apart and they are still best friends with a lot to celebrate!
Matron of Honor
Well technically she isn't a Matron of Honor yet, but by the time of the wedding she will be! Mariah lives in Maryland with her fiancé, Travis. Mariah was Caitlyn's first friend that she made at Penn State. They both attended summer session and were on the same floor and in the same classes. They clicked instantly and discovered they had a lot in common, such as their love for life and adventure, competitiveness, athleticism, and the belief that girls can roll with the guys. Mariah is always there for Caitlyn whether it's for advice or just to listen and Caitlyn is so grateful for her friendship. Mariah and Caitlyn have shared so much in their 10 years of friendship, from tailgates, football games, game nights, bridge jumping, and parties, to engagements and now weddings!

When Alex told Caitlyn she was moving on from the Center and going to try something different, Caitlyn was sad but knew they would remain friends. Ashley was Caitlyn's first friend she made when she moved to PA in 6th grade. She walked into homeroom, they smiled at each other and it was love at first sight. Since then they have been involved in volleyball, got their first job together, and attended the same church. They've had fun going to volleyball tournaments with their moms and laughing the whole time. Caitlyn is ecstatic that Ashley and her have worked through some difficult times in their friendship and she is a part of her wedding! It just goes to show you that no matter how much time passes, they will always come back to one another. They are just meant to be best friends and can make it through anything. Bridesmaid
Caitlyn and Katie met in graduate school at The University of Pittsburgh. Katie is currently enrolled in a doctorate program in Texas and even though miles separate them when they do get together it feels like nothing has changed. Katie is just the type of friend who you can pick up just where you left off. The moment Caitlyn knew that Katie would turn into a lifelong friend was when she stood by Caitlyn as she was literally stuck in an escalator. The second day of Caitlyn and Katie meeting they were going to an orientation event for new students and Caitlyn's maxi skirt ended up getting stuck in the escalator leaving Caitlyn stuck. Immediately Caitlyn and Katie started cracking jokes about it and trying to problem solve about what to do. This is one memory that will forever bond them.

Mandy is Caitlyn's older sister and lives in New York with her daughter, Rylie. Even though Mandy and Caitlyn are 5 years a part and never grew up in the same house Caitlyn knows Mandy is always there for her and has appreciated her support and advice over the years. The fact that Mandy was willing to play along meant a lot to Caitlyn and now she is happy that she can do the same thing with Rylie. Caitlyn loves that you have already accepted Justin into the family with open arms!

Nadine and Caitlyn met their junior year at Penn State. The first time they met was in a psychology lab, but they soon found out they shared something more important in common, their belief in Jesus Christ, when they met again in a Christian organization on campus. God knew they needed each other's friendship and Caitlyn is so grateful that He had them cross paths. The last 6 (almost 7) years of friendship have been filled with laughter and comfort knowing Caitlyn not only has a friendship with Nadine, but that friendship is filled with faith, spirituality, and Jesus Christ. From dancing at Indigo, being silly at football games, Cru formals, and worshipping God at conferences to now Nadine being by Caitlyn's side at her wedding. There is a lot to celebrate with this friendship!
Bridesmaid
Sam was Caitlyn's first friend in Philadelphia and met through a family member of Justin's before Caitlyn even moved to Philadelphia. Sam and Caitlyn have only been friends for 2 years, but their mutual love for Penn State and Sam's outgoing personality made it easy for them to develop a friendship. Caitlyn is glad that Sam lives so close and they can hang out regularly. Sam's selfless attitude never ceases to inspire Caitlyn. Mother of the Groom
As far back as Justin can remember, his mom was there to take care of him. She raised him, taught him important lessons about interacting with peers and respecting people, and has imparted her wisdom to him throughout his entire life. Now, as Justin prepares to start his own family with Caitlyn, it will be this legacy of love, compassion, and respect that the young couple strives to pass on to their children. As Justin and Caitlyn prepare to start their new life together, they are assured that she will continue to be a pillar of love and support for them.
Father of the Groom
The father of the groom, Jerry has always shown Justin how to behave and what to do in life by leading through example. As a kid, Justin knew to do what he knew to be right, always help those in true need, and that he could always rely on his parents to be there for him. Now, as an adult, Jerry continues to teach Justin how to live with steadfast devotion to his family, and to himself. Justin is so glad to have his father with him on his wedding day, as he has been throughout his life.
Best Man
Matthew and Justin have been friends since the third grade when his family moved to the Harrisburg area from Ohio. As the years passed, they have remained close; they try to see each other frequently to engage in their favorite activities: hiking, going to movies, playing boardgames, and watching TV shows they mutually enjoy. Matt was the first person Justin asked to be in his wedding party, and he was excited to agree to participate in the ceremony. Matt has always been a dependable foundation in Justin’s social life, and Justin could not be happier to have him as a best man on his and Caitlyn’s special day.
Best Man
Thomas is Justin’s cousin. Born less than two weeks apart, they have been close since they were babies, as evidenced by the dozens of hours of home video footage their parents captured throughout their childhoods. Tom and Justin share similar humor and outlook, and they feed off of one another, something that was only made worse by the years they spent rooming together while attending Penn State in pursuit of their undergraduate degrees. Diehard Penn State fans, they’re guaranteed to see each other at least a few times each football season for tailgates and other blue and white festivities. Tom has always been a great resource to Justin, whether it’s asking for advice, sharing in frustration, or just hanging out to watch a ballgame. Justin is proud to count Tom as a best man!
Groomsman
One of the longest non-family relationships in the wedding party, Adam (or AJ, as Justin still calls him) and Justin have known each other since kindergarten. To this day, Justin can recall the two of them getting a kid’s toy stuck inside a dollhouse during show and tell, and frantically struggling to get it back out before the teacher noticed. As they’ve grown up, Justin and Adam continue to explore their shared interests, which include hiking, backpacking, sharing bonfires, drinking whiskey, smoking cigars, and solving the world’s problems. Adam and Justin can talk without interruption indefinitely, and have spent many an evening chatting about future plans, engineering, and everything in between.
Groomsman
Corbin and Justin were made to be great friends. A shared love for football, beer, sarcasm, Dragon Ball Z, progressive metal (Dream Theater is the best band ever), classic rock, sarcasm, and dark humor made the two of them instant friends. Corbin is a person Justin can turn to any time he’s faced with the dilemma, “who would get this?” While he’s one of Justin’s closest friends, Corbin is also Mariah’s younger brother, and it’s very exciting for all involved to have made the ceremony even more of a family affair!
Groomsman and Keyboardist
Justin Kambic’s oldest friend, Justin and Justin were seated next to each other on the first day of kindergarten. They got along immediately as young children; Justin Kambic can still remember crying like a baby when the teacher informed him halfway through the term that, not only were the seat assignments changing, he’d no longer be able to sit with his friend. Fast-forward twenty five years, and the two are still close friends who have always kept in touch when it was feasible. Justin Myers (or Gus as he’s called to differentiate the two when they’re together) invited Justin to be a groomsman in his wedding, and Justin was all too happy to return the favor.
Groomsman
The youngest cousin on his dad’s side, Justin has many fond memories of running around his Uncle Dan’s house playing, hiding, and generally clowning around. Throughout high school and later years, Justin spent an inordinate amount of time playing the greatest online video game of all time with Mike, Thomas, Sean, and Justin’s dad, Jerry. Spending every free afternoon together online helped the cousins stay in touch and have fun together, even when they were living in different towns or attending different schools, and they all look back on that time fondly. As they’ve entered adulthood, Mike and Justin have always known that they could rely on each other to be there, and Justin was thrilled that Mike agreed to participate in his special day!
Groomsman
Another of Justin’s cousins, Sean has been a close friend of Justin’s his entire life. The middle child of one of Justin’s closest aunts and uncles, there are fond memories and videos of bygone summer afternoons swimming and running around the pool at Sean’s parents’ house. As they’ve grown into adulthood, Justin and Sean remain close and share a love for Penn State football, and they try to watch a few games together each season.
Groomsman
After Justin graduated from Penn State, he took a job in northern New Jersey, hours away from family and friends. Deciding he missed his familiar surroundings, Justin often took trips back to campus to visit friends who were still finishing their degrees. Travis and his now-fiancee Mariah (Caitlyn’s matron of honor) lived in the apartment next door to Justin’s friends, and he quickly became close with both of them. As the years went by, Justin has always maintained a loving friendship with Travis and Mariah. This relationship paid dividends in the end, because it was through Travis’s and Mariah’s friendship and hospitality that Justin met Caitlyn; although it took years for them to get together it was worth the wait in the end.
Groomsman
Zach and Justin met early on in their college careers; from their earliest experience, saving a young man from walking straight into a dart game, through late night Sporcle games, having wings delivered to a night club, to present day, they have always been close and enjoy getting together whenever they can. Zach played a special role in helping to cause the culmination of the day’s festivities - he was the first person to let it slip to Caitlyn that Justin had a crush on her (they had previously believed that their relationship was one of mutual dislike). Caitlyn and Justin are both thankful Zach was able to participate in the wedding, because without him there might not have been a ceremony to begin with!
Singers
Caitlyn first met Jonathan and Susan through church. They are both very busy with 4 children of their own. They are a beautiful couple with voices to match! Caitlyn loves hearing them sing together at church. Caitlyn and Justin are very excited to have them sing during the ceremony and for them to be a part of their wedding!
Singer
Caitlyn met Julia her freshman year at Penn State and has always admired her for chasing her dreams. Julia got her bachelor of music degree in vocal performance at Penn State and then went to Juilliard for her master of music in vocal performance. Now she is currently in the Opera Institute at Boston University receiving a performance certificate. Caitlyn loved seeing her in opera performances at Penn State and ever since they met Caitlyn knew she wanted her to sing at her wedding. It is a dream come true and Caitlyn is so excited for her to be a part of her wedding in such a special way!
