Bridesmaid
The first friend Caitlyn made at university, thanks to the most important nod of her life. Feel free to ask Níne for the whole story, we love telling it. A special friendship full of love and excitement. A bond that has been tried and tested, built up, and made to last.
Bridesmaid
Classmate, gymmate, housemate, and life mate. For Caitlyn, the friendship was sealed when she realized she could identify Nina blindly by the rhythmic 'slap-slap' of her flip-flops as she was coming down the hostel stairs (even before she would knock on Caitlyn’s door). A honest, loyal and true friend.
Bridesmaid
Caitlyn’s COVID blessing and always the most organised friend of the lot. Among the silent hallways and empty hostel rooms, Caitlyn’s heart was filled thanks to a precious friendship that formed between them.
Bridesmaid
Robynne's arrival can only be described as an act of God. She was present for every 'unofficial' hangout (except for the hike), and her presence brought not only peace (amidst the nervousness) but also so much love and joy. It was still early in their friendship, while driving back from a Sisterhood conference, where Caitlyn realised that Robynne was going to occupy a very special place in her heart.
Groomsman
Charlie immediately resonated with Vian’s punctuality and sincerity. Their friendship was, ironically enough, officially sealed over an afternoon coffee when Vian said: "You know you’re one of my good friends, right?" A simple sentence, yet it brought deep reassurance.
Groomsman
Charlie isn't quite sure where or how the friendship began, but it can best be described as 'potent, powerful, and pastoral'. Perhaps it’s the Worcester-Villiersdorp commonality.
Groomsman
Contrary to the status quo, this friendship was establish after a passionate rebuke in the Neelsie. Soon after, Ryan extended the olive branch and bread was broken on the Rooiplein grass. Now they are best mates.
Groomsman
Nothing brings two Grade 8 PRG hostel boys closer together than a bit of trauma-bonding. Praise the Lord his parents bought a "Safe Haven" house in Stellenbosch. However, Charlie later realised it was Jandré who had become the "Safe Haven."
Best Man
Charlie wasn't particularly fond of Ben at first, as he saw him as a bit of a "goody-two-shoes." To make matters worse, they were literally tied to each other during orientation in Grade 8. Looking back now, Charlie realises those ropes turned out to be prophetic of the close bond they share today.
Life of the party
We wouldn't be able to have this wedding without our loved ones present to witness it and celebrate with us!
