We met in the Fall of 2018 when we both enrolled at Indiana State University. Friendship quickly blossomed, but Billy had just enlisted in the Air Force and was set to leave school for an entire year. We remained in contact after basic training, and grew closer over our shared sense of humor. In August of 2021, we finally began dating. The past five years have been full of laughs, board games, and exciting adventures.

Billy proposed on November 8th, 2025 at Coxhall Gardens in Carmel, Indiana. What started as a normal day quickly turned into the most meaningful surprise. Surrounded by the peaceful gardens and a whole lot of love, the big question was asked... and of course, the answer was yes! After the excitement of the proposal, the celebration continued with some of our favorite people over dinner and drinks. It was truly a beautiful day filled with love and the start of our next chapter together.
