Our story began in the most unexpected place—work. I was heading up to the Club Lounge, and Ken was on his way down to the kitchen. A simple passing moment, one that could have easily slipped by without a second thought, but instead, it sparked something much more. Our first full conversation was about Ken's recent adventure swimming with dolphins in the Florida Keys. I’d never experienced anything like that, so I was completely fascinated as he told me all about it—the joy of swimming alongside such graceful creatures, and the awe he felt in that moment. There was an effortless connection between us, like we’d known each other far longer than we had. A few years later, Ken surprised me for my birthday by taking me to swim with dolphins in the Florida Keys. It was such a beautiful full-circle moment that allowed us to reminisce on our first conversation. Looking back, that moment in the second floor elevator landing was just the beginning of something so much bigger—our forever. From the first time we spoke to now, I’ve never stopped being grateful for that simple, serendipitous moment at work. What started as a casual conversation has grown into years of unforgettable shared experiences, laughter, and and so much love.
