Caitlin grew up going to Bethany with her family and the Aluise/Friend crew (the oldest Aluise child, Dylan, is officiating the wedding). Once Ian came into the picture, he was put through several rigorous tests (quizzes, games of mahjong, proving that he could properly pick and eat a crab, etc.) before being fully welcomed into this grand tradition. Ian and Caitlin are stoked to share this important place with all of their family and friends.
We are hoping for a fun, beachy, slightly more casual vibe. Jackets and ties are totally optional. The venue is on the sand, so keep that in mind when picking your shoes (if you choose to wear shoes).
Yes! We will do everything we can to accommodate all shapes, sizes, ages, etc. Beach wheelchairs will be provided by the venue for any who need. Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any concerns.
There is parking at the venue. We will also be arranging shuttles from the hotels, if you would prefer not to drive.
We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! So please enjoy an adults only evening, and let your parents enjoy some time with their grandkids.
