Where is everyone staying?

Answer

Anything goes! Our venue (The Hi-Lo) is on the west side of town and there are no hotels in close proximity. Everyone will need to take taxis (or ubers) from their respective locations to the venue. Some hotel options we've provided guests are: JW Marriott, The Renaissance, Chicago Hilton, The Pendry, The W or Westin, Hotel Lincoln - feel free to text us if you have any questions. There is no hotel block so you can pick what suits your needs.

Is this event kid-friendly?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. This is a party at a bar and everyone will be ID'd upon arrival.

What are some fun weekend activities to do outside of the party?

How do I get around the city?

Answer

I would not recommend renting a car - it's not needed! You can easily hail taxis, call uber / lyft rides, rent city bikes or scooters and there's always the trusty L!

Will there be an after party?

Answer

Once festivities wrap up at The Hi-Lo, the plan is to head down the street (literally a few doors down) to The California Clipper for dancing and more merriment!

Will there be a ceremony?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. Tim and I will be formally tying the knot in Germany about a month after this event. This is an opportunity for us to celebrate big with our nearest and dearest before heading to Germany.

Will there be food?

Answer

Yes! We have hired a hot-dog cart that specializes in Chicago dogs and we will be hiring another food truck (either tacos or pizza) as well.
