Candlewood Suites Rochester Mayo Clinic Area, an IHG Hotel

If calling to make a reservation, please specify that you are booking under Schmidt/Van Meter wedding hotel block. We will provide a shuttle from Candlewood Suites to the venue prior to the ceremony. We will also provide a shuttle from Mayowood Barn back to Candlewood Suites throughout the evening. There will be only TWO shuttles transporting guests from the hotel to the ceremony. The first shuttle will leave Candlewood Suites at approximately 3:00 PM with drop off at Mayowood at approximately 3:10 PM. The second shuttle will leave Candlewood Suites at approximately 3:30 PM with drop off at Mayowood at approximately 3:40 PM. If possible, try to use the earlier shuttle to avoid not having enough room for guests on the second shuttle. At the end of the evening, the shuttle will be making round trips to transport guests from Mayowood back to the hotel every half hour (as needed) beginning at 8:30 PM. Departure times from Mayowood will be approximately 8:30 PM, 9:00 PM, 9:30 PM, 10:00 PM, 10:30 PM, and 11:00 PM.
