Fall weather in Colorado is very unpredictable. The mountains can be even more unpredictable! Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors. We advise dressing in layers so you can take them off and add them as needed. When the sun goes down it will feel significantly colder!
If you are coming up from Denver for the day or staying at a different hotel there is parking at the venue but it is limited. Please carpool as much as possible!

Since Colorado weather can be unpredictable and storms often roll into the mountains in the afternoon we recommend hiking in the morning. If you are going on a short hike you would probably be okay to start in the afternoon. Make sure you hike with plenty of water, tennis shoes or hiking boots, dress in layers, and bring lots of sunscreen! We also always hike with our rain jackets!
Rocky Mountain National Park will continue to use a reservation system because of COVID. . They have decreased the number of cars allowed to enter per day. All visitors need a timed entry permit or camping reservation to enter ALL areas of RMNP between 6am-5pm. You need one reservation per vehicle per day in addition to a park permit. There are two types of reservations. One for Bear Lake and one for the rest of the park. We recommend getting the Bear Lake reservation so you have access to the whole park. Reservations are available in 2 hour chunks. September reservations will be available August 1st. We recommend getting your reservation right away, they will sell out very quickly!
