We went on our first date at a popular burger restaurant in Chicago, where we nervously shared a meal, had a drink and decided to keep talking at another restaurant in the area. It was a date that started in the mid afternoon and went until the wee hours of the morning. One of those experiences so good you just never want it to end. We couldn't be more thankful for that first date and all it has led us to, especially now that we always celebrate with a burger on August 9th!

We planned a trip to France for the 100th year anniversary of Armistice Day in November of 2018. MIguel's love of history took us to the Champs Elysee to commemorate the end of WWI. The vacation that followed was a roadtrip of the northeast of France with equal parts historical sights as wine and cheese. They say to really know someone you should travel wih them. Since it was one of the best trips of our lives and only reaffirmed that we were meant to be, we have decided that France would be the place were we celebrate our forever commitment to each other!

Miguel surprised Caitlin with a vacation for Christmas and only once they arrived at the airport did she know they were headed to Vienna, Austria! After a few days of wonderful Christmas markets and all the best Viennese treats while they were casually finishing breakfast at Cafe Centraal that Miguel asked Caitlin to embark on their next journey together. And of course the answer was YES!
