Flight
The Minneapolis Saint Paul International Airport is the largest and most convenient airport to fly into for our wedding. MSP is a major Delta hub, and all major airlines have flights available domestically and internationally through this airport. The airport is a 20 minute drive from downtown Minneapolis and 31 minute drive from our venue, the Woodland Glasshaus at Bavaria Downs. Ground Transportation Uber & Lyft are easily accessible from this airport and throughout the Twin Cities, please follow the signs to "app-based ride services." Terminal 1 If you plan to use Uber, Lyft, or another app-based ride service, your ride will pick you up in the Ground Transportation Center located on Level 1 of the Green/Gold Parking Ramps. Terminal 2 Pick up is available from the Ground Transport Center, on the ground level of the Purple parking ramp. Rental Cars Renting a car is our recommended form of transportation if you plan to spend time exploring different parts of the Twin Cities. Rentals are available at both terminals of MSP Airport. Terminal 1 On-airport rental car counters at Terminal 1 are located on the ground level of the Silver Parking Ramp. Passengers can take the underground tram to the ramp and follow the wayfinding signs to the rental area. The entrance to the Silver Ramp is located under the Prince mural. Terminal 2 At Terminal 2, on-airport rental car counters are located in the Ground Transportation Center on the ground level of the Purple Ramp directly across from the terminal building.
Travel Note
We have contracted a room block at the Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Minneapolis West in Plymouth. Guests are not required to stay here and are welcome to book the best available rate at another preferred hotel. When booking your lodging, please consider proximity to our wedding venue, as transportation to the venue will be the responsibility of the guest. Transportation will be provided after the wedding to the Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Minneapolis West. All guests are welcome to take these shuttles whether they plan to stay at this hotel or not.
