School bus shuttles will be provided to and from the Mystic Marriott for our wedding. The shuttles will NOT pick up at the main entrance. The shuttles will be located at the North Ballroom Entrance, on the LEFT side of the hotel. Please ask the front desk to direct you. Shuttle 1: 3:00 PM Shuttle 2: 3:10 PM Three shuttles will return to the Marriott at 10PM.

On October 7th 2023, Matt and Caitlin started the day with breakfast sandwiches at their favorite Deli and made their way south to the Kent's home in Mystic, CT. Under the guise of celebrating Matt's 33rd birthday, Caitlin believed they would spend their evening at a local surf bar. Before their departure to dinner, Matt suggested they walk down to Secret Beach on Mason's Island. Caitlin was uninterested as there was a storm headed towards the area. She took her sweet time getting out the door; she even stopped to socialize with a cat halfway to the beach. Caitlin didn't realize she almost de-railed Matt's elaborate plan. Safely on the rocks of Secret Beach, Matt pulled out the ring he had designed for Caitlin and got down on one knee. Caitlin was so surprised she responded by sitting down on the beach and eventually shrieking her acceptance. Thankfully, Matt had hired a photographer to capture the moment. Shortly after, Caitlin and Matt's closest friends and family descended upon Secret Beach to celebrate their engagement. As if Matt had planned it- the rain held off. The day concluded with a champagne toast and dinner. It was the perfect day!
