The ceremony will take place at 3:00 pm. Guest are welcome to start arriving at 2:30 pm. Please keep in mind that the ceremony will be taking place on the beach and could be sunny so make sure to pack any accessories you might need!
Yes, there is parking available outside of the building our reception will be in. The ceremony will be taking place at the beach on site, which is a short walk away from the parking area.
Yes, there will be transportation provided to and from the Wychmere for guests who are staying at the Bayside Resort Hotel and the Aiden by Best Western. Transportation will arrive at each hotel at 2:00 and will leave the hotel to head to the wedding venue at 2:15. For the Bayside Resort Hotel, pickup will be at door #4 by the East wing parking lot entrance. It is located near the outdoor pool area and has a porch that you can gather at while you wait. For the Aiden by Best Western, pickup will be at the front door located by the lobby. At the end of the night, transportation will arrive at the Wychmere at 10:00 and leave at 10:15 to bring guests back to the hotels. Please make sure you get on the bus going back to the hotel you are staying at (there will be one for each hotel)!
The wedding ceremony will take place outside on the beach and cocktail hour will take place outside on the rooftop deck. The reception will take place indoors. We will have access to the rooftop deck all night so you are welcome to travel back and forth between the inside and outdoors.
The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire, but we also want you to be comfortable! We will be spending time both outdoors and inside throughout our wedding event. Make sure you pack a pair of shoes that can travel through the sand, sunglasses, sunscreen, and anything else you might need to stay comfortable in the sunshine or with an ocean breeze!
During the end of June, the average high is 72 and the average low is 60. In the sun, it can get warm on the beach so make sure to plan accordingly. At night, the sea breeze can be cool so wraps or shawls might be nice if you plan on hanging out on the rooftop deck.

There is a small walk from the parking lot near the reception venue to the beach where the ceremony will be taking place, as well as a short walk across the sand to get to the seating area for the ceremony. However, we do have a few different options for guests who need assistance. Please reach out to us so we can work together to make a plan that will work best for you! For cocktail hour and our reception, there is an elevator in the entrance lobby that will take you up to the second floor where we will be located.
We are asking that you please refrain from taking pictures during our wedding ceremony. You are welcome to take pictures during cocktail hour and the reception following the ceremony. We will be happy to share photos from the ceremony with you afterwards if you are interested!
Yes, everyone is welcome to attend our welcome gathering on Saturday night and farewell brunch on Monday morning! We would love to see you there. Please visit the Schedule section of our website for more information about the time and location of each event.
