Maid of Honor
Sister of the Bride, insanely talented hairstylist, even better friend from St. Paul, Minnesota. My complete opposite, yet identical counterpart. Try to distinguish my laugh from hers, I dare you.
Bridesman
Brother of the Bride from Fargo, North Dakota. Can customize a truck like no other (but only if it's a Chevy, otherwise it's just not worth it). My forever punching bag.
Bridesman
Yet another wickedly talented hairstylist coming in hot from St. Paul, Minnesota. Best friend and the Harry Witherspoon to my Annabel Glick (high school musical theatre reference). One third of the most dramatic Tripod you'll ever meet.
Bridesmaid
Best friend from Fargo, North Dakota. Major photo cred for taking most of the photos you see on this website. Camping partner and wine enthusiast. Kelsey also gets credit for my outfit on my first date with Karl.
Bridesmaid
Best friend traveling from Denver, Colorado. Singer, dancer, actor. Would have thrived in the 80s. The final third of the infamous Tripod.
Bridesmaid
Best friend making the trek all the way from Lille, France. Crazy hair, crazy personality. My overseas adventure sister and personal travel advisor.
Best Man
Adam is my older, and only, brother. Despite some stiff competition he was a natural choice for Best Man. He's a solid brother and even better man. I would never say it to his face, but he sets an invaluable example for how to lead a life. He often offers his best wisdom when I least expect it, which I've come to admire. As it's in my nature as a younger brother to resist everything about him, he never ceases to surprise me with his level of clarity, reliability, and appreciation for life.
Groomsman
Mike is my soulmate, and Caitlin is aware of this. He's terrible at friendship but well worth the effort. Mike and I started out as bitter enemies from literal day one at MSUM, and through sheer chance had a second encounter. The second impression went only marginally better, but we quickly began to realize that we were true soulmates. Mike and I have virtually nothing in common, in fact in most aspects we're near complete opposites. I had the privilege of standing as his best man when he married his wife, Wendy, and I'm thrilled to have him next to me. He's one of the most gifted, hard-working individuals I know, and he invigorates every life he is a part of.
Groomsman
Kyle is technically my cousin, but has long been the older brother Adam and I never had. Though he may have tried to ignore me for most of my teenage years (which is fair), Kyle has always been a source of wisdom and guidance. Some of that wisdom may have led us both astray a time or two, but we're still here so it couldn't have been too bad.
Groomsman
Luke and I met in our early college days and spent several years as roommates. Luke gets most of the credit for Caitlin and I for a variety of reasons. When Luke and I got our first apartment, he and I developed an affinity for incredibly low-cost apartments. In March 2016, we once again went looking for the cheapest place we could find. As a result, we found Caitlin, who happened to be selling cheap apartments at the time. Luke met her first when he went to pick up the paperwork for us. That night, Luke told me verbatim: "You should marry the apartment girl." Generally, Luke gives pretty good advice.
Groomsman
Josh is my brother-in-law, married to my oldest sister, Amanda. Josh is unanimously regarded as our parents' favorite child, which is fair. Josh is uniquely reliable, most likely due to his hobby of making lists. Josh is the lead tenor for the Band Holson, and makes a mean cocktail. He's the infamous inventor of the Skim Jim. Josh is a man of few words, which makes him a great person for me to be around. I once heard Josh belly laugh, he tried to hide it from us, but we saw. It was like seeing a shooting star hit Bigfoot - rare but spectacular.
Groomsman
I met Tyler through Barb, Mike and Tyler's grandmother. Tyler and I first met immediately after he had mouth surgery, which obviously went well. Since then we've spent most of my birthdays together. He's the version of Mike that has the same hobbies as me, which is convenient. Tyler is the classic example of a fine upstanding young man.
Usher
Justin was my very first friend upon arriving to college, and we haven't looked back since. He makes an exceptional travel companion, and an even better friend. All of my most compromising photos have him featured next to me. A jack of all trades and interests, he's plenty friendly and chatty so you'll know him when you meet him.
Usher
Simon is my uncle, my mother's youngest brother. He's been an irreplaceable source of wisdom and guidance for many years, as well as a source of humor, and a healthy amount of mischief. Not too long before I met Caitlin, Simon told me I need a driving partner for my road trips, he must have known something I didn't.
