Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Really great question, good job! Assuming the September weather cooperates, the ceremony will be held outdoors, so dress your semi-formal best with that in mind! If for some reason the weather doesn't cooperate, don't worry! The ceremony will be moved inside the reception hall, conveniently located at the same venue.

How long will it take me to get from the ceremony to the reception?

Answer

You're in luck! Both the ceremony and the reception will be held at the same location: Romantic Moon Event Center in Glyndon, MN. Address: 158 80th St S Glyndon, MN 56547

Will there be a shuttle to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes! A free shuttle will be available for those staying at the two hotels listed on our Lodging Page. It will start about two (2) hours before the ceremony and will be available again starting two (2) hours prior to the end of the reception (and until the end of the reception) to bring you back to your hotel. Please keep in mind that the free shuttle will not be available for those staying at the Buffalo River State Park.

What's this I hear about no sit-down dinner??

Answer

We totally understand your concern, but have no fear, there will be lots of food available! The ceremony is starting a little later than some weddings, but will be immediately followed by a cocktail hour catered by one of our favorite local restaurants, and pizza will be brought out later in the evening for any guests still dancing the night away. We would like to encourage guests to eat before the ceremony, but feel free to leave plenty of room for the cocktail hour, dessert, and late night snacks.

What's the parking situation?

Answer

There is a large grass parking area available at the wedding venue. Vehicles can be left at the venue overnight and picked up in the morning at no cost!
