Please RSVP online using the RSVP button on the homepage or using the RSVP tab. We would like to have everyone RSVP by January 31st, 2025, at the latest.
We like you! We'd like to spend time with our guests, since you'll be coming all the way out here to see us. That said, these are optional extra events that Joe and Caitlin will be attending, but please don't feel pressured to join.
Our wedding guests are already our favorite people. We will not have a wedding party / groomsmen / bridesmaids.
We want people to be comfortable! The dress code will be "dressy casual." For this time of year in Hawaii, we would suggest: • Sundresses • Light weight separates • Dress shirts with khakis or other lightweight slacks • Jackets and ties optional The ceremony will be outdoors on grass, so please keep this in mind when selecting your shoes. You may also want to wear sunscreen! If you had also never heard of "dressy casual," here are some ideas: https://www.theknot.com/content/what-to-wear-dressy-casual
Please refer to the "Schedule" tab above.
The venue has a limited number of 5 parking spaces total, so please follow the carpool plan. Our ceremony will be held at Hawaii Vista Weddings. You can use this address to find the front gate of the property: 1128 Awahiwa Street, Pearl City Hawaii 96782 Go right after the gate for parking.
TBD
The ceremony is planned to be outdoors on the lawn overlooking the valley. If there is inclement weather, the backup is indoors at the same venue.
We love your children and are looking forward to visiting with them if they will be joining you on your trip! However, due to space restrictions, we cannot accommodate guests under age 18 on our wedding day.
Take and share your own photos as much as you like! The wedding ceremony will also have a professional photographer.
There will be a gelato cart with at least one dairy-free option at the venue following the ceremony. At the reception, we will have a three-course meal. Guests will be able to order off of the dinner menu at the time of the event; you will have a choice of fish, pork, or a vegetarian pasta for your entree.
Please call Caitlin or Joe to help coordinate special food options, if needed. We want to have food available for everyone!
The bar is open. We ask our guests to have fun but know their own limits.
There is no after party planned, but final determination will be made night-of.
Your attendance is the present! Though, if you feel strongly about giving an additional gift, the wedding registry is tied to this wedding website. Just click on the "Registry" tab above.
Again, your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! It's expensive to come here! If you would like to honor us with a gift beyond that, you can have it delivered to our home address.
Because we are such a small party, we were unable to get a hotel block with the Kaimana Beach Hotel. However, please use the discount code to book your rooms! Discount Code: KBH2025SE Hotel Website: https://www.kaimana.com/
There is not a hotel shuttle from the airport or a shuttle to the wedding venue.
A few people have asked this as they plan travel dates. We both plan to be off of work from August 25 to September 5 (the week leading up to the wedding and the week after). We will not be leaving island for a honeymoon and will be on island after the wedding. We will be checked-in at the Kaimana Beach Hotel from August 28, 29, and 30th.
There are lots of things to do in Hawaii, even if you don't leave the island of Oahu. Check out the "Things To Do" tab above for some of our personal recommendations!
The majority of the time, the weather is sunny with temperatures in the low 80's. Be prepared for possible rain, though, especially if you venture out to the east side of the island.
Yes, but it has fewer drivers and longer wait times than you may be used to on the mainland.
The only way between islands is by plane, though these "island hopper" flights are usually less than $100 roundtrip.
There have not been active volcanoes on Oahu in millions of years. You will need to take an island hopping flight over to the big island if you'd like to see the still active, but tourist safe, volcano. If you want to see an extinct volcano crater, sign up for the Diamond Head Hike!
Hau should we know?
Any updates will be posted to the homepage ("Home" tab above). If there is a significant change in plans for whatever reason, Caitlin and Joe will reach out.
Chances are, if you have a question someone else might be thinking it too! Give Joe or Caitlin a call and we'll add it to the FAQs!
