Georges River Land Trust
GRLT conserves the woods and waters in and around Cushing and helps foster connections between communities and the land they live on/near. Check out some of our favorite trails/preserves on the "Things to Do" page.
Voices for a Second Chance
VSC offers comprehensive services to individuals who are processed through the D.C. correctional system, as well as re-entry services to those returning home from jail. These individuals are often living on the margins of society: poor, lacking education, and without access to jobs, housing and health care. Their incarceration puts an additional and serious strain on them and their families.
Fair Fight
Promotes fair elections in Georgia and around the country, encourages voter participation in elections, and educates voters about elections and their voting rights. Fair Fight brings awareness to the public on election reform, advocates for election reform at all levels, and engages in other voter education programs and communications.
