When should I arrive?

Answer

We will host welcome cocktails Friday evening and would love for you to join! Our wedding and dinner reception will be Saturday afternoon and evening. Tip: if you are enjoying the property outside of the weddings days, make reservations for the restaurants, spa, golf, and additional activities in advance!

Can I bring my kids?

We love your little ones, but we kindly request that our wedding be an adults-only celebration. Thank you for understanding!

What is the dress code?

Answer

For the welcome party, we kindly request smart casual attire/relaxed cocktail attire. Dressier jeans are acceptable. For the wedding mass and reception, we kindly request formal attire. Gentlemen are asked to wear suits; ladies in floor-length gowns or formal cocktail dresses. If you are golfing over the weekend, The Broadmoor Golf Club dress code requires collared shirts and either slacks or Bermuda-length shorts/skirts for both men and women. All denim, athletic shorts, tank tops, T-shirts, and sweatpants are not permitted. Traditional golf shoes or soft-soled shoes are required on the course and practice areas.

What is the weather like that time of year?

We can expect cool, crisp mornings and 60-70 degree afternoons. Cooler evenings are expected. A sunny Fall day is what we are hoping for! Please pack layers for this time of year.

What is the altitude like?

Answer

Colorado Springs sits just over 6,000 feet above sea level- about 1,000 more feet than Denver. The mountain air is stunning but thinner than most are used to. Be sure to stay hydrated, pace yourself, and maybe save the champagne toasts for later in the evening.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

The ceremony will be held at the Pauline Chapel, located just across the street from The Broadmoor. It is approximately a five-minute walk from the resort. For guests who prefer transportation, shuttle service will be available between The Broadmoor and the chapel.

What happens after the wedding ceremony mass?

Answer

Cocktails in the Pompeiian start after the mass. Walk across the street from the chapel to the Broadmoor and enter the main building. Wedding reception to follow. Dinner, dancing and fun!

Where do I RSVP?

Formal invitations and RSVP cards will be sent in July. We kindly ask that you RSVP with the card provided in the formal invite.

Do you have golf reservations for guests?

Answer

We have a block of times for discounted rates for twosomes and foursomes on both Thursday, Oct 15th and Friday, Oct 16th. Please let us know if you would like to golf, and we will help you get reserved. Thursday, 10/15 --- We currently have 9:40/9:50/10:00am first available Friday, 10/16 --- We currently have 12:20/12:30/12:40pm first available The golf rate will be $215 +tax p/p which includes cart, GPS and practice. There are Callaway golf club rentals available at $88 +tax per set which includes a sleeve of Callaway golf balls (if needed).
