Del Valle Regional Park is a haven for nature enthusiasts, offering a plethora of outdoor activities. Although remote, this park featuring a 5-mile long lake and 16 miles of shoreline is located just 10 miles south of Livermore. Visitors are welcome to rent boats, kayaks, stand up paddle boards or pontoons from the marina. Two sandy beaches are located on both the east and west sides of the park. For land adventures, the park features an extensive trail network suitable for hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding, offering sweeping vistas of the surrounding hills and valleys.
The iconic Golden Gate Bridge is only about an hour car ride outside of the Sunol and Pleasanton area. During our adventures out to San Francisco we enjoyed seeing the Golden Gate Bridge from the viewpoints of Baker's Beach and Battery Spencer. We hope you can pencil in a day trip to the San Francisco area and enjoy all it has to offer.
