Let’s start with the most obvious. Visit the Science Museum of Minnesota! They have so much to learn about and explore as well as lots of interactive exhibits that are fun for all ages. We recommend you check it out the day of the wedding because all of our wedding guests get free admission for the day. Just make sure to bring your comfy shoes!
Located very near the Science Museum at the north end of Rice Park is this beautiful historical museum and cultural center. It is free to enjoy and often has events going on such as concerts and special tours.
Right between the two cities is an indoor mini golf course with each hole designed by local artists. They also have an arcade and food and drinks available. It is such a fun whimsical place that is sure to be one of the most unique golfing experiences you’ll ever have!
The Mall of America is the largest mall in the US and is a regular stop for most visitors. This mall has over 500 stores, an indoor amusement park, and an aquarium! Make sure to leave some room in your suitcase for whatever souvenirs you find and don’t forget, Minnesota doesn’t have any sales tax on clothes ;)
This is where Melman went to school and holds a very dear place in our hearts. You can take a photo with the Goldy statue at the student union, walk across the Washington Ave bridge, check out the university bookstore, and so much more! If you need more recommendations, feel free to ask the groom.
If you’re looking for a concert or show, these are just a few places that you can go to scratch that itch. Check out their websites for what shows they will be offering the weekend of our wedding!
