Caitlin: I was working for an English school and had to go in for a meeting. I was TOTALLY on time, but everyone was already there, the meeting had started, and there was only one seat left. I sat next to this guy and didn't really pay attention to him. After the meeting I was waiting to talk to one of the secretaries, but that same guy kept talking to the secretary asking a million questions about his work contract. Finally he finished and left, and the secretary answered my question in two seconds, so then I left. I was walking behind the guy at a close distance. I had a choice to slow down walking (so I didn't have to talk to him), or introduce myself. So I said, "Hey! Are you going to work here?" We talked for a while and he offered to drive me home. I said yes (because I didn't want to take the bus). When we got outside my apartment he asked me for my number to go out for a drink sometime (I thought as friendly coworkers). Two days later I get a text saying he wasn't going to take that job and found another, but he wanted to take me out for an aperitivo that weekend. That guy was Alessio and we've been together ever since. :) Alessio: Andai ad un meeting ad una scuola per la quale avrei dovuto cominciare a lavorare di li a poco. Il meeting era gia iniziato quando una ragazza entra evidentemente in ritardo e si siede vicino a me (ultimo posto rimasto disponibile). Dopo il meeting vado in segreteria per parlare del mio contratto e una volta fatto vado via per tornarmene a casa. Stavo camminando verso la mia macchina quando la stessa ragazza che era entrata in ritardo da dietro mi chiede qualcosa. Io mi giro e cominciamo a parlare. Le offro un passaggio visto che era di strada (e per galanteria) e arrivati sotto casa le chiedo il suo numero. Qualche giorno dopo le invio un messaggio per uscire a prendere un aperitivo e lei accetta. Da quel giorno siamo ancora insieme e adesso dopo circa 3 anni ci stiamo per sposare!
