Our story started when we met at college, but it was not until almost a year later on March 9, 2022, when Ethan decided to reach out to the girl that would go from being his best friend to now future wife. As we got to know each other, it was not long until we knew that God allowed us to cross paths for a reason.

Ethan: Once my junior year of college ended, I couldn't wait to go ring shopping. I bought the ring on my first visit and the next thing I had to do was wait. At the end of summer, we had a family trip planned to go to Hawaii to visit my soon-to-be fiancé. I barely slept the night before and was up all night perfecting the poem that I'd read to Caitlin. It was on that mountain when I got down on one knee and asked the most amazing girl ever to marry me. (luckily she said yes!!!) Caitlin: At the end of summer, Ethan's family had a trip planned out to Hawaii. The morning after they got in, Ethan was very adamant about taking me on my favorite sunrise hike. That morning we were pointed to a perfect spot where he read me a hand-written poem while playing love songs then got down on one knee and proposed. It was perfect and by far the easiest "Yes!" of my life! We could not be more excited to step into this next chapter of our lives surrounded by those we love, coming from near and far.
