Charles & Caitie

FAQs

The Wedding Website of Caitie Grady and Charles Evans
Question

What is the attire?

Answer

Cocktail/Evening attire. The ceremony is outdoor, in a garden setting, followed by a tented dinner and reception. Wear what makes you feel fabulous, but no black tie necessary.

Question

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The bar will be up and running as soon as the ceremony ends. Twin Oaks is a beer/wine/champagne-only venue. The bartender will be asking for IDs, so be sure to bring them along!

Question

What if I arrive early?

Answer

We understand that Monday traffic can be tricky and unpredictable. If you arrive a bit early, it's no problem! The venue will be open. Feel free to grab a water or lemonade and make yourself comfortable. Caitie made a playlist just for you.

Question

What if I choose to bring a card or gift?

Answer

Well heck, that's awful sweet of you! There will be a box for cards, and a gift table near the entrance leading to the ceremony.

Question

Can I leave my car at the venue overnight?

Answer

Absolutely! We encourage everyone to be safe. If you decide to Uber or Lyft, or hitch a ride with a friend, you may leave your car in the Twin Oaks parking lot. Security will lock the gates overnight, and cars may be picked up between 10am and 12pm the next day.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

Yes, they are! Ain't life grand?

Question

My college roommate is in town, can I bring them along?

Answer

Unfortunately, we are unable to host any unexpected guests. Thanks for understanding!

Question

Can I take pictures or video at the wedding?

Answer

We ask that no pictures or video be taken during the ceremony, and that our friends and family simply be present with us during that special time. Our photographer has it covered! After the ceremony, however, feel free to snap away, and tag your memories all over the interwebs with #charlesandcaitie!
