So, you two are already legally married....what's this event all about?

Answer

You are correct, we got legally married in front of our immediate families on August 22nd 👰‍♀️🤵‍♂️🕊 Now it's time to party ✨🎉 September 22nd is our wedding reception!! It's officially time to turn a new leaf this Autumn Solstice and enter this new special chapter in our lives - it simply wouldn't feel complete without celebrating with all of our loved ones 🍃🤍🍂 Ceremonies can take up so much time and energy and we simply didn't think it would be possible to be fully present and enjoy the event in its entirety doing it all in one day. Keeping everything as authentic and meaningful as possible has been very important to us and we are so grateful we get to truly attend our own party with each of you to celebrate our marriage 🥰❤️ And there may even be a peek into our ceremony for all of those interested 😏🎥😉😆😍

Where will the Jolly Trolley pick up on Thursday?

Answer

The provided transportation will pick up and return near the Friday Harbor Ferry Holding Lanes alongside Salty Fox Coffee (85 Front St, Friday Harbor, WA 98250) on the corner of East Street and Front Street. Pick-up and return times as follows: Pick Up 4:30pm & 5pm | Return 9:30pm & 10pm Note that the Jolly Trolley is open air, in case an extra layer is desired 🧥

Will the event be indoors?

Answer

The reception will be both indoors and outdoors. Guests will arrive to the Jolly Trolley drop off area in the Event Barn parking lot, then will walk to the Gathering Space at the Inn for cocktails and apps from approx. 5pm - 7pm. After enjoying the sunset on the grassy hill, everyone will migrate to the Event Barn to take their seats, grab dinner and dance the night away (until 10pm) and then the Jolly Trolley will pick up from the same drop off location 🪩✨

What should I wear on Thursday?

Answer

Well, Caiti will be in a wedding dress with block heels and Cory will be in a suit with no tie... We'd suggest cocktail attire, but feel free to dress up or down as much as your heart desires. Just note Saltwater Farm is a real farm and there will be some dirt paths and grassy landings beyond the Event Barn...so ladies may rethink stilettos and possibly lean to sandals, wedges and block heels for comfort. And weather is evolving, but 🤞 for a sunny high of 65° and a temperate low of 50°.
