Stroll down Penn Avenue, passing beautiful Heinz Hall, the Benedum and O'Reilly theaters. Consider a detour through lively Market Square. (Primanti Brothers!) Head toward the Point State Park Fountain. The Point is the confluence of our three rivers: the Monongahela (the Mon), the Allegheny, and the Ohio. Continue on the Three Rivers Heritage Trail to cross the 6th St Clemente Bridge. See the Roberto Clemente Statue at PNC Park and continue on the Heritage Trail along the waterfront to Heinz Field. End at the Tribute to Children which features Pittsburgh's favorite son Fred Rogers and stellar city views. 2.5 - 3 miles.
A surprisingly fun history center, whether you're interested in the Super Steelers or the groundbreaking exhibit on The Vietnam War. Close to both hotels, walkable from the Westin.
