We have decided to keep our ceremony and reception as an adults-only celebration.
Since Ubers/Taxis are sparse in Concord, we will be providing shuttles to and from the wedding. Shuttles will be picking up and dropping off in downtown concord near the Holiday Inn. Shuttle schedule will be posted closer to the wedding, please see our travel section for more details. If you wish to drive instead, there will be parking available on site and you are welcome to leave your car and pick it up the following day.
Flume Gorge (Franconia Notch State Park) – It’s a bit of a drive, but it’s almost certainly the coolest hike I’ve done in New Hampshire. (Joe - 8/10) Kancamagus Highway – Every Internet search you do will tell you that it’s a must. It’s cool, and it should be pretty (Joe - 6.5/10) Mount Major (Alton Bay) – I love Lake Winnepausaukee. Cailey and I did this in 2021. Pretty, lots of foliage. (Joe - 7.5/10, Cailey - 8.5/10) Carter Hill Orchard (Concord) – Classic apple picking, cider donuts, etc. (Joe - 8.5/10) Portsmouth (Portsmouth) - Cute town 45-minutes from Concord. (Joe - 8.2/10)
The Works Café — 42 N Main St My go to: Toasted Dagwood, no tomatoes with Hot Cider (Joe - 10/10) Cailey Says - “Like Panera but better, 7/10” The Barley House & Tavern — 132 N Main St The Detroit pizza is shockingly good (Joe - 8/10) Cailey Says - “uhhh pretty good, 8.5/10” Revival Kitchen & Bar — 11 Depot St Upscale farm-to-table. Tough to get into, but very good (Joe - 9/10) Curry Leaf Indian Restaurant — 75 N Main St Indian restaurant that replaced the one that I used to like. Not sure what the deal is, but if it’s the same owner it’s very good. (Joe - 8.3/10) Angelina’s Ristorante Italiano — 11 Depot St Moody Italian spot. Feels v fancy (Joe - 7.8/10) Dos Amigos Burritos — 26 N Main St Second favorite behind the works (and they’re next to one another if your group can’t decide) (Joe - 8.9/10) Cailey Says - “Like Chipotle, 8/10” Hermanos Cocina Mexicana — 11 Hills Ave I got my first gameboy color at this restaurant. It was see-through purple. They will have live music. The nachos bang (Joe - 8/10) Siam Orchid Thai Bistro — 12 N Main St Haven’t been in 20 years and Seattle has changed my perception of Thai food. They have to be doing something right to still be around though. (Joe - 7/10) Or use the internet
