The Wedding Website of Cailan Davies and Zenin Biron
Our favourite people—standing by our side on the day that means the most.

Cailan Davies

Bride

Lover of soft greens, simplicity, and all things timeless. With a heart full of gratitude and a deep love for those around her, she’s simply overjoyed to be marrying her best friend. Surrounded by people who’ve shaped her life, today is not just a celebration of love—but of all the moments and memories that led to it.

Zenin Biron

Groom

Quietly thoughtful, endlessly kind, and steady in every way that matters. He’s the sort of person who brings calm in chaos, laughter in the in-between moments, and a deep love that speaks in actions more than words. Today, he stands ready to begin forever with his best friend by his side.

Allison Papineau

Maid of Honor

The bride’s soulmate in friendship and partner in lifelong chaos. Best friends for over 15 years, she’s been there through every chapter—high school adventures, college nights out in Ottawa, and all the late-night talks that turned into early-morning laughs. She’s the one who always has the bride’s back (even if it means hiding a coat in the ceiling to dodge coat check). Outgoing, fearless, and full of joy, she brings the energy wherever she goes—and knows the bride better than anyone. A twin flame in friendship and the love of her life in the most platonic, ride-or-die way.

Kyle Martelle

Best Man

A loyal friend and the groom’s steadfast supporter. Friends since the age of 8, their bond was built on scraped knees, shared mischief, and countless memories. He was the groom’s first housemate, his trusted wingman, and the one person who can lift him up on his hardest days. With an open ear, a quick joke, and a deep understanding of who the groom truly is, he’s not just a best friend—he’s family. He’s also the only one who’s ever managed to teach the groom a little patience... especially while fishing.

Sarah Lawrence

Bridesmaid

A forever friend since grade four. From after-school basketball games to summer swims in her backyard pool, Sarah has been a constant light in the bride’s life. As childhood neighbors, their days were filled with trampoline jumps, laughter, and the kind of friendship that only deepens with time.

Hunter Duchesne

Groomsman

A brother in every way but blood. Hunter and the groom have shared 14 years of friendship—from early mornings on the ice to late nights in their first shared home. They’ve played hockey, lifted weights, and tackled high school side by side. Always encouraging and never far away, Hunter has been the one to push the groom to be his strongest, healthiest, and truest self.

Kate Mackay

Bridesmaid

A cousin by blood, but more like a lifelong sidekick. From sandy summers at the family cottage to unforgettable travels across Ibiza, France, Italy, Spain, and Roatán, Kate has been part of the bride’s story in every season. Once the little cousin she’d lovingly tease and battle over toys with, she’s grown into a true companion through every adventure. From beach days to plane rides, she's always been there—and always will be. Loved to bits, then and now.

Ryan Cooper

Groomsman

The groom’s brother-in-law, but really, he’s felt like family for years. They've known each other since the groom was just 12, and after years of dating his sister, Ryan officially joined the family not long ago—though he never needed a title to feel like a big brother. Always dependable and always ready for a laugh, Ryan brings good energy, big karaoke dreams (whether invited or not), and a signature move: telling unsuspecting guests to "get on the ground" for a friendly play fight. Keep an eye on the mic—he might just steal the spotlight.

Emma MacLean

Bridesmaid

Little cousin, lifelong buddy, and constant spark of joy. The bride still remembers when she and Euan were both just tiny kids running around at family gatherings—playing broomball, unwrapping gifts at Christmas, and making every moment feel like a memory in the making. Over the years, they’ve shared adventures in Cuba, taken endless silly photos, and stayed close through updates on school life and drama. Fun, adventurous, and full of heart—she’s grown into someone the bride is endlessly proud to have by her side.

Carson Martineau

Groomsman

Not related by blood, but they might as well be. Since meeting in their early twenties, Carson and the groom have built a friendship that feels more like a brotherhood—complete with backyard swims at Carson’s dad’s, late-night NHL video games, and endless rounds of golf. They may look like twins, and sometimes act like it too, but Carson’s always been the “younger brother” in the dynamic (just barely). A loyal friend and guaranteed good time.

Jordan Ruest

Bridesmaid

A newer friend, but one who feels like an old soul in the best way. Though they grew up in the same hometown and share mutual ties (including the groom’s sister), the bond between Jordan and the bride is all their own. Adventurous, full of life, and the ultimate Toronto guide—she knows every hidden café, vintage shop, market, and beach spot in the city. Whether it's a day at Cabana or a sunset walk by the water, it's always a guaranteed good time with Jordan by your side.

Brett Columbus

Groomsman

More like an older brother than a cousin. Growing up together in the small town of Timmins, Brett has always been someone the groom could look up to—from childhood to now. His support, advice, and steady presence have meant the world over the years. Even with distance between them, Brett’s just a phone call away—and always answers. Loyal, dependable, and full of heart, he’s someone the groom deeply admires and is proud to stand beside on this day.

Taneigha Cooper

Bridesmaid

The groom’s sister and a beautiful friend in her own right. While they don’t hang out every day, the bride and Taneigha always share meaningful conversations, backyard hangs, and time spent with her sweet daughter, Wrenley. She’s also generously (and stylishly) shared half her closet over the years. Their bond has grown naturally, and the bride couldn’t be more excited to officially call her a sister.

Euan Davies

Groomsman

The bride’s little brother and the groom’s honorary one. At 18, he’s the youngest in the wedding party—but brings more heart, humour, and perfectly timed one-liners than anyone. The groom took him under his wing years ago—whether they were play fighting, going on late-night walks, watching movies, or practicing parallel parking. He’s always there to help (especially with dog-sitting), and always makes everyone laugh. Both the bride and groom love him endlessly, and the groom can’t wait to officially gain him as a brother.

Madeline Papineau

Bridesmaid

A forever friend and someone the bride has always felt close to. Growing up together, they shared everything from beach days and basketball games to high school parties and nights out downtown in Ottawa. Spa dates, heart-to-hearts, and endless laughter have made their bond something truly special. May has always felt like home, and the bride loves her deeply.

Samuel Ferland

Groomsman

A longtime friend and teammate through it all. From riding to hockey games together to downtown nights out, Sam and the groom have shared years of laughter, late-night Call of Duty marathons, and way too many Chel and Fortnite battles to count. Whether it's in the gym or on the ice, he’s always been a solid presence and a constant in the groom’s life. And let’s be honest—he’s not only a stud, but the kind of guy who shows up, every time.

Kendra Campbell

Bridesmaid

A high school friend turned forever one. The bride has had the joy of watching Kendra grow into the amazing woman and business owner she is today. From lashes and laser appointments to nights out downtown Ottawa, she’s always there with a laugh, a good story, and a whole lot of heart. Fun, reliable, and full of charm—Kendra brings the energy wherever she goes.

Isaac Gravely

Groomsman

A friend since grade 7 and one of the groom’s most trusted constants. Even with distance between them, every time they reconnect it feels like no time has passed. From falling asleep at parties to showing up when it matters most, Issac has always been by the groom’s side through thick and thin. With a heart as warm as they come and a way of making everyone feel at ease, Issac is the kind of friend who brings light—and laughter—wherever he goes.
