UC Botanical Garden
Yes, we're recommending our wedding venue as a place to visit. Why? Because as our guests, you get free access to the gardens the day of our wedding. Just tell the front desk that you're with the Strandberg/Klingman wedding, and you'll be let in! You won't be able to roam the gardens during the reception, so we highly recommend you check them out beforehand.
Tilden Regional Park
A gorgeous park near our wedding venue featuring a steam train for kids, a merry-go-round, plenty of hikes, a petting farm, and a plant nursery. Free entrance.
Golden Gate Park
There are so many things to do in this park, including the Japanese Tea Gardens, the de Young museum, the California Academy of Science, paddle boating, the Conservatory of Flowers, and more.
Alcatraz Island
Take a ferry here and go on a fascinating tour of one of the world's most notorious prisons.
Crissy Field
A great place to take dogs! Run around, have a picnic, go to the beach, etc.
Muir Woods National Monument
Gorgeous hikes through some of the tallest trees you'll ever see.
Ferry Building
Grab a snack and do some shopping in this converted ferry building located right next to the Bay Bridge.
Presidio of San Francisco
Take hikes, bike, picnic, visit the old fort, and check out the Golden Gate Bridge.
Oakland Museum of California
Go to fantastic exhibits on California history, science, and art.

A hands-on, interactive science museum. Great for kids!
San Francisco Museum of Modern Art
An awesome modern art museum located in the heart of downtown SF. Has tons of cool permanent and temporary exhibits.
Legion of Honor
One of Caety's favorite museums, featured in the Hitchcock movie Vertigo. Full of great art, plus the building itself is gorgeous.
