It's your basic romance story. Boy meets girl. Girl refuses to tell him her name because she thinks it's funny, claiming this makes her more "mysterious." Boy and Girl debate (to this day) over which one asked the other out. Boy and Girl go on movie date, where girl is too enthralled by the movie to notice Boy attempt to put his arm around her. Later that night when they both return to their respective rooms, Girl is full of anxiety and texts boy the highly romantic question, "Was that a date?" Boy confirms it was. Thus Girl and Boy begin a relationship that lasts through years of all-nighters at an incredibly difficult university, three months of being about as long-distance as you can get, a mental breakdown, moving, the passing of family members, starting jobs, moving in together, going back to school, multiple Dungeons & Dragons campaigns, and the petting of many, many dogs. Okay, maybe it's not the most typical romance, but it's ours. We've been through a lot in our seven years together, and we're confident that we're ready to become partners for life. Please join us on October 26th to celebrate the joining of our families.
