We first met at a party at Ball State University, classy we know, not thinking much of it at the time. But as life brought us together more often, a friendship began to grow. Overtime, that friendship blossomed into something deeper- something lasting. What started as a simple hello has turned into a love we can't wait to celebrate forever.
Our first date was set at a local coffee shop in the evening- a little funny since we didn't even end up ordering coffee. What mattered wasn't the drinks but the decision we made that night: to go for it. Sitting there together we realized that what we felt was real, and that simple evening became the start of something so much bigger- our forever. And we continue to explore new coffee shops wherever we go, a nod to where we started (and because we just love coffee) .
Our first big trip together was to the Biltmore Estate in North Carolina- a day packed full of exploring, smiling, and unforgettable moments. As we hurried from the beautiful gardens to our bike tour, Payton took a quiet moment of pause. Right there, in the middle of all the excitement of the day, he got down on one knee and asked the 'easiest' question ever. It was truly the easiest yes that has sparked our future.
