Answer

We know that coming to a destination wedding is costly so we are not expecting gifts. But if you'd like to check out the Registry tab of this site. Or you can make a small contribution towards our new family, through Venmo @Cabertos (https://www.venmo.com/u/Cabertos) OR Zelle: misscaberto@gmail.com (6308889402)

Question

Do I need a Passport?

Answer

Yes! A Passport book is mandatory to enter Mexico. If you do not have a passport or need to renew yours, please visit the US Passport Center website at: http://www.travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports.html/ For more information regarding passports and entry requirements, please visit: www.Travel.State.Gov/

Question

What does all-inclusive mean?

Answer

All-inclusive Accommodations includes: All resort meals, drinks (alcoholic and non), taxes and entertainment. You will also have access to the fitness center, basketball & tennis courts, Kids/Teens club, pools & swim-up bars, and music lab.

Question

When should I reserve my room?

Answer

As soon as possible! Our room block expires in July and booking early will increase the chances you will receive the room you want at the best possible group rate. Keep in mind 60% of the total is due on July 23, 2023. If you are unable to book by July, we cannot guarantee a room will be available or at our group rate.

Question

Can I make payments?

Answer

Yes - after a deposit has been made, you can make payments in any increment and amount you wish by using the link our travel agent will email you. You will be sent an email reminder when additional payments are due. There is a $35 fee for declined credit card payments. There is a $50 late fee for all payments received after the final payment date: 9/12/23 (if payment is not made timely, booking is subject to cancellations).

Question

Is travel insurance required?

Answer

No, it’s optional but recommended. Our travel agent offers travel insurance when you book, however, another option is you could check with your credit cards to see if they offer trip insurance and what it covers. We have Chase Sapphire and it offers trip insurance as long we use it for our booking.

Question

What if we don't stay at the Hard Rock?

Answer

There are a few resort hotels nearby. You will only be allowed on the property for the day of the wedding and they charge a resort fee for non-guests.

Question

What if we book outside of your room block but we are still staying at Hard Rock?

Answer

Per hard rock policy any bookings outside of our wedding block will be charged a fee to attend wedding events. I know such a bummer :( But email our Travel Agent Cherie and she may be able to work something out.

Question

Can I book a higher room category or a room not included in the wedding block?

Answer

Yes, as long as there is availability for that room category. Please contact our Travel Agent Cherie via email Cherie@islandvows.net to receive a quote.

Question

Are the Spa & Beauty Salon services included?

Answer

Unfortunately not. :( But I will attach links for their services and you can see if it's something you would like to book with them! Question

What is the weather like in December?

Answer

We have been told it is nice during the day but gets a little cooler at night and sometimes windy. Bring a light sweater/jacket just in case :)

Question

Is Cabo safe?

Answer

With everything we see on the news and media, it is understandable that many of us are concerned regarding safety in Mexico. That being said, Cabo is one of the safest places to be in Mexico even safer than some cities in the U.S. It's pretty isolated from a lot of things going on in mainland Mexico as it's on the peninsula. Cabo is considered the "Beverly Hills" of Mexico. Staying on the resort is very safe as it takes 10 minutes and multiple gates just to enter into the resort. If you plan to leave the resort, stick with your group and stay in the main areas (downtown, beaches etc.).

Question

Should I bring cash?

Answer

Yes if you’d like to tip the bellboys, housekeeping, bartenders etc. Here is a mini guide for suggested tipping (USD): Driver: $2-5 Restaurants: $1-3 per meal per table Bartender: $1 per round of drinks Bellboy: $1-2 per bag Housekeeper: $1-5 a day. If you have special minibar requests tip extra Of course these are only suggestions from TripAdvisor, you can tip whatever you feel is most appropriate.
