Where should I stay?

We have room blocks at several hotels in Salem. Check the Travel section for more information. There are also great Bed and Breakfasts in Salem.

When should I book my hotel?

Answer

Hotels in Salem book up far in advance. We recommend you book your hotel room as soon as possible.

How do I get to Salem?

Answer

The best way is to travel from Boston. You can either rent a car or take the commuter rail from the city center (see the Travel section for more information).

Are children welcome?

While we love all of your growing families, this will be an adults-only event. Thanks for your understanding.

Is there a dress code?

The dress code is cocktail attire. Make sure to check the weather in advance!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes. If not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

A shuttle will be provided from downtown Salem to the venue and back. Specific location details and times will be posted in the Travel section. Additionally, there is parking at the venue should you choose to drive, though we highly encourage everyone to take the shuttle.

I have a food allergy or restriction, can I make a special request?

Yes! We will ask for details of food allergies and restrictions in the invitation RSVP.

What is your COVID-19 policy?

Answer

Thank you for asking! Out of consideration for our friends and family with compromised immune systems, we are asking every guest to take a COVID test before attending any wedding events. If you test positive or have any symptoms, please stay home.
