Cam and Nate met at UNC Charlotte when they were roommates in 2016. They knew instantly that they’d be friends with their shared love of video games and movies. They spent countless hours watching Game of Thrones, Marvel movies and talking video games. After Nate moved on from Charlotte, they remained in close contact with each other. Cam couldn’t think of a better person to stand up next to him on his wedding day.

Michelle and Rachel have known each since birth and have grown up together. Through awkward middle school years, heartbreak and friend issues in high school, to going to college in separate countries, Michelle and Rachel have always stayed close. Rachel is incredibly thankful to have someone like Michelle that has always been there for her and can’t think of anyone else to stand by her side on her wedding day!

Daniel Freeman

Cam and Dan met in college on the Track and Field team and have been friends ever since. They both worked together in the Charlotte 49ers Athletic Department where they took their hallway walks and conversed about life, love, and the future.

Natalie Beyer

Natalie and Rachel have known each other since their sophomore year of college when Natalie joined the sorority ASA. Rachel is technically Natalie’s “Big” but that quickly blossomed into being best friends throughout college. From partying, endless laughs, a senior year bucket list and graduating together, Rachel and Natalie have been close ever since!

Jacob Deaton

Cam and Jake also met on the Track and Field team and were roommates for 4 years in and out of college. They have spent many long nights playing COD and Zombies when they should’ve been doing homework. Cam and Jake share their love of super hero’s with Jake being the Hulk and Cam being Spiderman. They attend the Hero’s Con Convention every year in Charlotte.

Nikki Mirth

Nikki and Rachel met at UNC Charlotte when Rachel was an intern. Nikki was the only other girl in the office and they clicked right away. Nikki and Rachel both enjoy tequila shots and margaritas so you can frequently find them at the nearest Mexican place. They also spend every St. Patrick’s Day and Halloween together because who doesn’t like bar hopping?

Austin Taylor

Austin is Cam’s step-brother. They have known each other since 2012 and have been family since 2015. Cam and Austin share a love of Star Wars and Marvel.

Emily Dumas

Emily and Rachel have been friends since Rachel’s freshman year of college. They instantly clicked during Comm 101 after Rachel rushed ASA. Emily and Rachel later lived in the sorority house together and then in a house on Red Lane. They singing along to Taylor Swift, enjoy laughing, watching Disney movies, eating Sheetz and being “funtertaining”.
