Travel Note

We will be providing transportation to/from the Barcelona airport / Downtown area.

We will provide bus transportation to/from the Barcelona airport & downtown area. Transportation will leave for the venue at 12pm Friday, so we can check in to Castell d'Emporda Friday afternoon. If your plans have changed since you responded to the Google form please text Lauren to note any changes for capacity reasons. Buses will leave at 11:15 AM Sunday.

We have rented out the entire castle from Friday afternoon (6/20/25) to Sunday morning (6/22/25). We are so excited to have the whole place to ourselves to share with each other & facilitate community & an intimate environment. To help set cost expectations, rooms should be about $255E-$310E (Euro) a night. All hotel bookings & hotel room assignments (outside of immediate family & the wedding party) will be available through the hotel, using the booking code (LAUCHR210625) Instructions: 1) Go to the website: www.hotelcastellemporda.com 2) Click on "USE CODE" 3) Click where it says "Booking Code." 4) Enter the code"LAUCHR210625", apply it, and select your check-in (6/20) and check-out dates (6/22). 5) Choose your room and proceed with the reservation process. Flight

Tentative Flight Information

Ideally, guests would arrive in Barcelona by mid-day on Thursday, 6/19. For those in the US, this means a Wednesday evening flight on 6/18. This allows for a day to acclimate to the time zone change, and will prevent everyone from rushing to the bus to Castell D'Emporda, which will leave Friday, 6/20 @ 12PM. Check out is set for Sunday, 6/22 at 11 AM. As flights from Europe to the US leave early in the day, we recommend leaving Monday , 6/23 to allow time to join the bus on the return trip to Barcelona on Sunday. Or feel free to make you own arrangements in the beautiful Costa Brava region of Spain!
